I'm surprised to see such a positive reaction for this "meh" game. New Vegas, on the other hand, has only 6 pages worth of posts.

Maybe it's not a "meh" game after all ;)
Fantastic! Thank you so much GOG! You guys rock! This is a great release! I've been waiting for this for a while. I already own the Anthology but I bought it again just to get rid of sick DRM. Now all that's missing is Skyrim...
AWESOME! Great job, GOG!

Andrey82: Well, GOG, let me congratulate you on a great task accomplished! :) All 3 games is a great addition to the store. :)

Kakarot96: It's time for a few more miracles? Mechwarrior/Mech Commander series...? :P

Andrey82: Well, Doom 3/4 (4th got its DRM removed - why not to appear here?), Wolfenstein, Quake 4, Far Cry 3 or Assassin's creed series... Or Tomb Raider/Batman Arkham series... Wait! Mafia series or Vietcong with full soundtrack! This would indeed be miracle!!! :)
The first Mafia game is in legal hell with the rights in limbo, so don't look for that one.
Doom 3 I would be is happening given it is over Ten Years old.
Forget about Doom 4. It is way too new.
Same for the 2013 Tomb Raider and the Batman Arkham series.
Vietcong I am hoping for myself. I don't see any legal issues with that one, and it is certainly old enough.
Something weird happened when i launched the game: a warning box with a "there is no disc present" message.
If i close the warning, the game seems to run as normal. Is this behaviour normal for the gog version?
low rated
I own all 3 these games on Steam.

Where is the GOG Connect for these games???

I am NOT buying them again, i already gave my money.

This should have been part of GOG Connect.

Thanks anyway but not buying the games again.

That happens with a number of games on GOG. If the game runs normal, no big thing.
I will buy Oblivion later, happy to see such a missed and important game here. Haters gonna hate, it might have some flaws. But I have spent an insane amount of hours in here, literally escaping reality in a fantasy world after I had lost someone. It is not a happy memory but this is a game I emotively resonate with. Now it would go into my backlog and the price is too high for me for that, but at some point I might do a nostalgic trip and mainly to finish those damn Shivering Islands.
I had not played Oblivion before, but everyone speaks highly of it, and I thought I would purchase it before GOG forces Galaxy on downloads or installs (see other threads).

Before I purchase, does anyone know if there are mods available to update the graphics, or are the graphics fine enough with the GOTY edition? I do not have much experience with mods, so the easier the install the better!

(Posting here whereas there is a lot of posts on this thread. If I should use the game forum, let me know, and I will edit this out and post there.)

Thanks all.
Oh wow, what is next Skyrim?

This has been a week of great releases!

Thiev: They share all of them - registry key, Documents\My Games folder and AppData folder

PandaLiang: I see. Thank you!
Best solution is delete Steam version and make sure you go into Steam apps and delete the left over files but copy saves to transfer.

Really???

If GOG does that to force having to download through Galaxy and also force having Galaxy to play, just like Steam is, then it will be the last game i ever buy on GOG.

Because honestly, what would the point be of GOG then, i could just stay on Steam then. The only reason why i support GOG first is because i can download my game without being forced using a 3rd party tool like Galaxy and i can play my game at any time OFFLINE and NO DRM.

If they change then no need to buy from GOG because it will be just like Steam and then i will choose Steam first.

This is just fear mongering right now. Galaxy is still optional and the facts are that has not changed... even if GOG wants to bundle Galaxy with installers. You can still opt out and play without Galaxy as always.
