zeffyr: If anyone's interested, First Colony Edition doesn't include:

In-Dome Buildings Pack
Mars Lifestyle Radio

MadalinStroe: I remember having a discussion with support about this. I think both of these are actually unlocked if you install the game, when you buy First Colony Edition. Which is why I ended up removing those DLCs from my wishlist. Can somebody more knowledgeable about the game verify this?
For what it's worth - I own First colony Edition.
Neither Mars Lifestyle Radio nor In-Dome Buildings Pack show up as owned, are available as DLC in settings, or available in-game. :/
The simple question is, with this kind of price, is it really worth the price?
Also, why is the First Colony Edition not on sale while everything included in this version is?

blotunga: Teaches me not to buy any more Paradox games. I thought the First Colony Edition would have everything future. But no, Paradox is being greedy again.
Same here :)
https://www.paradoxinteractive.com/media/press-releases/press-release/paradox-interactive-and-haemimont-games-return-to-the-red-planet-with-surviving-mars-relaunched

"The Award-Winning Martian Colonization Game, Remastered: Players must overcome the challenges of building a habitable, life-sustaining colony in a hostile environment, bringing in human colonists, and keeping them alive long enough to become self-sustaining. Relaunched brings a reworked UI to players for easier access to their toolset and upgraded graphics fidelity and lighting for modern systems.

The Full Expansion Catalog: Compete with other colonies with Space Race, introduce Animal Life with Project Laika, and terraform the martian desert with Green Planet - along with all major and minor expansions, cosmetics, and radio stations released for the original game.

New Gameplay Feature: The “Martian Assembly” update adds colony factions to the game, adding players’ greatest challenge yet to the unforgiving environment of Mars: politics. Colonists will adopt agendas and personal demands, allowing players to shape the society of their colonies’ future. Establish laws and policies, and even push for full independence from Earth!

Expansive Mod Support: Craft your own buildings, parks, or even a sci-fi mystery to share through the game’s extensive and convenient modding tools. Modding is integrated into the game across all platforms, making it easy to browse, install, share, and manage mods without ever leaving your colony.

Surviving Mars: Relaunched will be available on all listed platforms for a suggested retail price of $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. Owners of Surviving Mars who purchase Surviving Mars: Relaunched on the same platform will receive a discounted price of SRP $19.99/£17.50/€19.99."

Got bad news for you. They aint planning on releasing this on this platform. this is anti-consumer and felt like a punch in the face

A GOG version is not currently planned.
Probably didn't plan (like many others) to pick it up right away in any case.
Given what Paradox is currently trying to pull with Not-Bloodlines 2 it's likely going to end up or already is on many blacklists.

Thanks for relaying.

And yes, neither did I expect this to launch on GoG right away nor wasn't I keen on picking it up any time soon. Not necessarily because of the 2 clans behind the paywall but the original version of Surviving Mars still being perfectly serviceable.

Should also guarantee the soon "classic" version not getting delisted for a while longer.
