shmerl: Yes, I also think most download only for their usual OS. lgogdownloader shows Linux in the user agent anyway, so GOG can use that as well.

hollunder: Also why would downloads matter, rather than purchases?
I often download both Windows and Linux, I wish lgogdownloader would support and option to download the Linux version if it exists, Windows otherwise. Guess I should file a feature request...
It does.
"--platform=l,w" means just that, "get for Linux if it exists, otherwise Windows". "--platform=l+w" means "download for BOTH Linux and Windows".

Extract from help:
--platform arg (=w+l) Select which installers are downloaded
Windows = w|win|windows
Mac = m|mac|osx
Linux = l|lin|linux
All = all

Set priority by separating values with
","
Combine values by separating with "+"
Example: Linux if available otherwise
Windows and Mac: l,w+m

Thanks a lot! Either it wasn't there when I set up my config or I missed it somehow.
Well...game was updated to 1.7.9b last week on Steam.

No sign of it here on GOG yet.

No surprise, the dev thinks we're a load of hipsters.

DavidM1337: Hey, Supraland-Dev here.
With the "for the sake of it" comment I was refering to a case of "I will only buy on gog because I want it DRM-free" but it IS DRM-free on Steam since forever. This ignorance and "for the sake of it" attitude made me a little angry.
I have not a single bad thought about gog.
Will Supraland 2 be coming to GoG?

My son has been massively enjoying Supraland and would love to tell him I'll be able to buy Supraland 2 for him.

Klumpen0815: Since Steam has a Linux port but GOG has not, I delved into the Discord server of this dev and apparently he likes neither GOG customers, nor Linux users, just let me put a quote of him here where he didn't answer my question, but offers some prejudice instead:

Edit
And I can already see the missing updates (not) coming:

Seems like this dev is just using GOG customers as 'pocket money'.

There hasn't been a single update here on GOG for Supraland since it was released back in July this year.

There have been at least FOUR updates and / or hotfixes on Steam since then!

But... the dev seems to manage to find plenty of time to put out the begging bowl for MORE money for his Supraland 2 game, with announcements on Steam and within the game itself on the main menu page.

Now, there''ll be even more begging, as the inevitable (paid for) DLC's get pushed, with the recent announcement of not one, but two in the pipeline.

Thanks for nothing dev. Instead of begging, try supporting.
