TheCleaner517: Is it me, or are the majority of the "coming soon" games, ones we actually want to be here and the "releases" are almost always some anime or anime porn game that we don't want to be here?

Because I feel that's what it is.... Still no Dawn of War. Which at this point, now I am holding out for the next Skulls for the Skull Throne Event, which is sad that they wait that long from the announcement, to the release. Either way I feel as though GoG is being inundated and saturated with garbage over quality.

I wouldn't say so... but just seeing anime style art is enough to trigger these people.. I don't think they even go out of their way to figure out whether a 18+ patch exists ;-) Fact this, these do exist for the older three titles, but the general vibe I get is that you're not missing out on much if you play the all ages version. Things were about to head into an interesting discussion about what even makes a game "porn" in that one recent LGBTQ+ VN release thread but it got locked by mods.

No Achievements equals no buy from me, given that it has Achievements elsewhere.

But I would have bought it if it did give GOG customers equal treatment & feature parity (and if the other games in the series also did too).

Ok the dev the makes it seem like they censored it for the western market weird, wording lol.
The last post in there clears it up better, there's only some semi nudes scenes.
Not even enough for Steam or Germany to require an adult rating.
I guess similar to the yaoi stuff that sparked that huge discussion.

I used to think like this when I was a kid. You have to realize we all have our taste in what video games we like to play. I would love more RTS or just strategy games on GOG. But I'm sure not everyone wants the same as me.

MarkoH01: I personally could not care less about Dawn of War ... so am I allowed to speak for you as well? Since you are doing it I guess I have the same right.

On topic: I am glad we got this here but for now it goes on the wishlist - still have to play the other ones.
In the same vein, I'm just interested in it showing up because it's got 7.5k+ wishlist votes. I don't care about the game myself.

I actually enjoyed the first two games (I believe one of them is free) - and I'm not even into VNs.
The tactical combat was really well done imo and the story was intriguing enough, so this one caught me by surprise.
I'm a bit hesitant about the changes to the system but onto the wishlist it goes :V

(And the games are perfectly enjoyable without the 18+ patch so no need to pull one's hair out ;) )
