Stray Gods - Pantheon Soundtrack Bundle

Now on GOG!
Nice! As a fan of musicals this seems absolutely brilliant and I cannot wait to start playing it. Thank you for bringing it here!
*Looks at the different soundtrack versions*

That's almost Paradox level DLC milking.

Edit: At least the complete version costs only 5 € more than the regular version without the soundtrack(s).

Although the Blue/Green/Red versions are different. So ... All of them?

Quote from the page:

Pantheon Edition: This album contains an eclectic sample playthru of each song, mixing the traits to represent one possible way to roleplay Grace. It also contains excerpts from the underscore that bridge the songs in-game.
I do think that the price of the complete soundtrack (Ultimate Soundtrack Bundle) seems quite reasonable and in line with other games on GOG, especially those that prides themselves on their music. If anything I'm surprised that they split them up so that you could buy the different parts separately.
EA should have released 3 differently-coloured Mass Effect 3 Soundtracks too.

Anyway, there should be a 3rd bundle that just includes EVERYTHING (The game + all soundtracks).

would be interested in the musical aspect even though it's just a visual novel but false advertising (it's as much of an rpg as a telltale game, so not at all) + dlc fuckery (I don't pay for mp3/flac, so it's more of a principle not to sell the same thing in different packages) and it's fucking expensive to begin with. passing on the developer, not just the game, based solely on the scummy misleading title. humble still knows how to pick 'em...

Well telltale games are at least fully animated, rather than being slide shows.

It's an interesting concept though, so I will be picking this up. Also the more games we buy from Humble, the more likely we are to get Signalis on GOG... or so I hope.

Someone needs to confirm that the game does or does not include music as game play. Few things are as inaccessible to me as music as game play. (From the various games that have "recreate the pitches!" bits, to rhythm games, and music-theory-knowledge required trivia.)
Judging by the demo it's not really an RPG, more like a visual novel, but I do love the idea of a video game musical. I'll probably pick it up, but not immediately.

No musical knowledge or skill is needed to play the game. You literally just select from different dialogue options each time, like a standard VN, except that the dialogue is sung rather than spoken.

The decision to release red/green/blue versions of the soundtrack is vintage Shania Twain.

Wishlisted for now. I'll wait for some reviews. But seems an interesting concept.
So none of the soundtracks include every known pokemons?
After Dominique Pampelmousse I would be a bit hesitant when it comes to musical games, but seeing that Austin Wintory did the score changes everything :)

If you only insterested in the soundtrack, you can get it here:
https://austinwintory.bandcamp.com/album/stray-gods

When you buy it here however, you get the different versions of the music grouped into packs however.

It's not the first game on GOG that split the soundtrack into several products, Kingdom come also had two different products, one for the original music, one for the ambient sounds.

/facepalm.

Who even is this for?!

Musicals should not be infecting video games. They should die like the culturally irrelevant artifact that they are.
