Meh, for a game focusing on USSR during WW2, they use quotes from Karl Marx. Very appropriate.

I would play that excellent game. I will. Communists around the world - unite! Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin will lead us to the victory of the proletariat!

Fuck off.
Must note above was written ~170 years ago (mid XIX century) and the first two sentences seem rather spot on in that timeline. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Communist_Manifesto#Legacy

The game is not even supporting communism, it even use communism as a game. We know communism is a joke. Because it is.

It's funny how divided people are about communism. Older people who experienced cold war still raging over a dead regime. Millenials on the other hand knew communism was a joke and Soviet crumbled over 30 years ago. Then there's clueless gen Z who played the game because funny Soviet memes.

Funny thing is older generation with biggest red scare still supporting the last large communist country because they want cheap commodities. Unknownlingly giving them all the fund they need.

Don't take it too seriously. This developer is great at creating immersion but they don't endorse a particular view. In Blitzkrieg you play as Franz Halder, and you get to do both the Clean Wehrmacht, and conquer Moscow. I guess in this game you get to be a bolshevik and spread disgusting Bolshevik tentacles into London.

Criticism of Blitzkrieg include the fact that it allows you to play as a nazi (not true Halder never joined the party) and conquer moscow, and there were a ton of tankies complaining. I wonder what the tankies are saying now you get to play as a commie and spread communism around including wish fulfillment scenarios as overrunning western Europe.

The next game you play as AMERICA which might be more palatable, and can spread freedom and democracy into all countries, so its all good. Play the version you like. I am glad this developer provides good wish fulfillment to diverse political views.

lol
WW2 Soviet tanks are very aesthetic and nice looking, especially the KV-1.

Especially when you consider that Stalin's USSR didn't give a toss about international class struggle and was all about "socialism in one country".

Talking about wish fulfillment, I felt that there's still many sides not told in video game or any other media. Like for example Turkey and Indonesia are not part of the Axis or Allies and wanting their own independence (Kemal Attaturk's Turk for Turks and Indonesia war of independence). Or China fight for new system of govt (republic vs communism). Or war of Afghanistan when it's still under British occupation. I want to see games based on those events.
Do i see freshly shaved soldiers in that tank ?

Well, the developers seem to compensate for poor game mechanics by adopting uncontroversial views like cheerfully embracing the Germans in WWII (which is noteworthy, considering the studio is from Ukraine - a country which now sides historically with the Axis) or caricaturing the Communist block. If you really want an authentic WWII playthrough for different political ideologies then there is nothing that beats Hearts of Iron.

So no thanks, I will pass on that.

No it's not. I think it's time you educate yourself a little.
A wargame, meh.

Now a serious game about "anarcho"-communism I could endorse though. :)

Tonight we riot is fine but not deep enough.

But yeah, let's eradicate the ruling classes, right! :)
