A stylish 2.5D character action game set in the biopunk world of Slave Zero (1999) – Slave Zero X, as well as its Digital Deluxe Edition are now available on GOG!

Be ready to run & slash your way through a dystopian future in this character action game which will resonate with fans of Devil May Cry, Strider, and Guilty Gear.

It features killer combos that you’ll use against army of meat and metal, amazing movement system that will help you outmaneuver your enemies, mini-bosses, set pieces, and climactic 1-on-1 encounters that offer intense challenges against unforgettable villains, Training Room to hone precise and powerful moves, a 90s-inspired soundtrack features heavy Drum’n’Bass and funky industrial music, and of course a unique visual aesthetic combines nostalgic 2D sprites with an advanced lighting system and stylized 3D environments.

And to add even more fun to the game, it doesn’t end after completing the campaign. Further challenges will await you in an expansive and frenetic “Bloody Palace” procedural challenge tower with an online high score leaderboard.

All of that in Slave Zero X!

Note: In-game DLCs are currently available through GOG GALAXY only. Please be assured that the developer is actively working on adding the possibility to access them offline.
The Pre-Order advert stated:
"Preorder now to get GOG-themed Shou Skin."

The Deluxe Edition mentions "PC Exclusive Shou Costume".

So is the GOG themed skin the same as the PC exclusive skin, or are these two different skins?

The game page mentions a demo, but --- at least for now --- it doesn't seem to exist on GOG.

No idea why but the demo has been removed from the store. Hopefully it'll return fast.

Well, as long as they don't remove it from our libraries (like they did once before without another demo)...
For the next week on Steam you'll receive a free copy of Slave Zero if you buy Slave Zero X. Will GOG offer the same deal?

I appreciate these kinds of notes.

Waiting to buy when that is sorted out, albeit I am unsure what are those "in-game DLCs". Cosmetic or more playing content?

Just the aforementioned "GOG-themed Shou Skin", I believe.
DLC offline installer files for the GOG Exclusive Shou Costume and the PC Exclusive Shou Costume are now available.

GOG should use the deluxe edition art for the front page banner ad instead of the face shot. The deluxe art at least communicates SOMETHING about the gameplay. But the face shot they're currently using could easily be mistaken for another horror-themed walking simulator, that would be a turnoff for the game's target audience of action-gamer adrenaline junkies.

Huh? I Pre-Ordered, but I do not have the GOG skin. Sigh... GOG never fails to mess up pre-order bonuses.
Sigh... time to log a ticket.

Same here.
Sort of lost, too - what exactly is the difference between the PC Shou Skin and the GOG Shou Skin, just the colour scheme or is there more to it?
