M3troid: Can anyone confirm if the remaster has proper controller support? xinput?
The game has control options for keyboard, mouse and controller by default.

Thanks.
owners of the OG don't have an extra discount?
Where are the achievements in the GOG?
meh. As expected when they removed the original. Here's the remaster for an increased price.
Ah, a remaster, not a remake, which was what I personallly hoped for. Well, it makes the old game playable guess.

And there is no extra discount for those of us who own the original video game as has been the case with other re-releases?

Not as far as I can tell. That's the difference between old gog and new gog.

Yep. I'll stick with the old version unless the price drops considerably.

Don't think you can blame GOG on this one, if the publisher doesn't want to give an additional discount GOG can't just say we are doing it anyway, they have to comply with the publisher, when EGS had there first big sale and gave everyone a 40% or so coupon off of everything on the store - this upset a lot of publishers (some didn't even know about the sale until it happened) and many even pulled there games from the store for the duration of the sale.
Lol.

Once again, we have a publisher release a remastered version of a game, choosing to 1) not give a discount to those who own the original game, and 2) remove the original game from the store.

I can understand not giving a discount to those who own the original game because of its age (released over 20 years ago), but some sort of bonus would be nice.

What I cannot accept is removing the original version of the game simply because a remastered version has been released (yes, I'm aware the original version was removed from the store last year). People should still have the option of which one they want to purchase, especially since the original version had the soundtrack as an extra (on GOG and on Steam). I just checked, and the original version is still available on Steam, so it begs the questions -- why was it removed from GOG?
How come the original version (which happens to be less than 30% the price of this new version) is still readily available on Steam?

Gog seems rather eager to pull stuff. Kinda reminds me of a claim some Beamdog staffer once made that it was gog who pulled the original versions of Baldur's Gate and Planetescape Tournament, out of their own volition, rather than Beamdog explicitly requesting their removal.

The Remaster has not been added to our libraries for free, nor do we get any further discounts.
As a first timer this is sweet
I'm surprised not to see "BEAMDOG" written all over this one!
