Can we obstruct the Suez Canal in this game?
I know Ports of Call, therefore this one is interesting to me.
I'd like to know if one can steer the ships manually, at least at the ports, like in POC?
I guess the answer is "No" because otherwise it would be mentioned in the game description. The developers site is also not much informative in this question.

Reminds me of a board game called Cargo that I enjoyed playing growing up (I think it was mostly sold in gift shops in northern Minnesota). It is a somewhat long game and a bit of a slog at times but I think the reviews on BoardGameGeek undersell it some since I found the route planning part to be fun and there is enough randomness allow a reversal of fortunes later in the game (with a "be careful" vs "usually it's fine" tradeoff). It is a good game to also be chatting while playing.

Anyway, this one is obviously much more detailed. On the SeaOrama website they say:

* To showcase to people the interesting and impactful world of the shipping industry.
* To enhance the idea and implementation of sustainable shipping strategies.
* To inspire younger generations to get to know the importance of shipping and the professional choices it offers.
* To use new means and spread the vision for a modern shipping industry via a series of edutainment video games.

The price isn't bad if it is a decent sim but the lack of screenshots and not very useful trailer worry me. I do enjoy learning random details about real world stuff so I have a decent chance of enjoying it I think if it is minimally ok. A demo would be great. If anyone tries it let us know what you think.
