Take part in a kaleidoscopic narrative puzzle game in which an artist comes to terms with their grief.
Genre: Action, Adventure
Discount: 10% off until 25th May 2022, 1 PM UTC
Looking forward to dive in later today.

Hope you can get other titles build around fractal / infinitely repeating geometry (Manifold Garden, Endlight, NaissanceE, INU - A Glimpse of Infinity) onto GoG too.
more puzzlers and demos on gog are good, I also love perspective fuckery, but not keen on 1st-person stuff, so this'll have to be a pass.
It only needs 4MB of RAM to run? And just 2MB of disk space? Wow, that's what I call optimization. :)

Is there a reason that trailers and gameplay videos are not always uploaded for new games? I can go to other sources to find them if the game looks interesting enough, but it would be nice to have them available on GOG. I've noticed a lot of games over the past months that don't always include them.

The reason is that GOG is constantly understaffed and unfortunately a lot of secondary tasks remain neglected.

oOOo new stoner-friendly games to try out!

I can say with certainty that manifold garden is an astounding game!

:). Almost seems like they intended 2GB except up top they say it's 3.1GB so who knows. The demo is a 1GB download.

Not the only retro feature for this new game. The minimum OS is Windows Vista.

I can't say I've ever tried running Vista on a computer with 4MB of RAM though.

While not quite fractal, is still mindbendy enough to qualify.

What a gorgeous escher-styled game, too bad it's RogueShite, dying and starting over again as the main gameplay loop is frightfully boring to me (I can only speak for myself) compared to a great puzzler!

But it's good that you brought it up though, as there are others who would love this game!

It's the very reason why I ended up gaming later in life, as the non-save/password games were mostly pointless for me and a huge waste of my time and effort; it wasn't until save features were introduced that I started gaming in earnest.

Well, the nice thing about HyperRogue is that it has several non-game modes that are more about experimenting with geometry and even a peaceful mode.

Make sure to give FPP and several of the projections a try.
