Downpour DLC for the incredible action adventure platformer Rain World is now available on GOG with a -10% launch discount that lasts until January 26th, 11 PM UTC!

Rain World presents you with a beautiful and atmospheric 2D world full of danger, where we, as a slugcat, must face alone. It is inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit classics, all while requiring fast-paced sneaking, both upon your own prey and past the jaws of hungry predators. Each ravenous foe in our path is cunning, vicious and always on the hunt – eager to sink their teeth into you, or even each other. We must rely on stealth and wit rather than force: learning the ecosystem and turning their strengths to our advantage.

Our main task? To find our family which we are separated from during a devastating flood and explore a vast world of over 1600 rooms, spanning 12 diverse regions filled with ancient secrets and undiscovered dangers.

Now, in Downpour, we will take control of five new characters, all with new abilities in this vast, redefined world. Slugcats have adapted to the harsh conditions alongside evolved predators! Surviving new environmental conditions, dangers and exploring uncharted territory all awaits us there.

Get ready for breaking new ground to explore, with ten expansive regions across thousands of new maps, environments, and weather to survive and discover. Five additional characters in the form of The Rivulet, The Gourmand, The Artificer, The Spearmaster and The Saint. Challenge Mode, putting your survivability to the test in multiple pre-constructed arena scenarios, adapting to each room as the difficulty increases. And Safari Mode – allowing us to revisit areas once explored safely through the eyes of an observer and controlling and playing as other creatures in the game to influence the scene.

The expansion also includes optional additional mechanical additions that allows for a spin on the Rain World experience – tutorialized hints, alternate routing options, a new map system, handy collectibles tracker for storyline completion, and many more.
Rain World's Soundtrack would be nice to have available for purchase here too.
Sorry, Rain World. Little Inferno got you beat on the "time passed between game release and follow-up DLC" basis. ;) 10 years versus your paltry 5.
Got it on Steam instead, so I can play on Steam Deck. I find GOG offer less and less compelling, as they stopped supporting older games. There is no point in splitting my library anymore if older games are being abandoned by "good old games".

You are supporting DRM-Free games on here vs Steam. I play my all of my GOG games on steam deck as well but it would be nice to get official support.

So earlier you didn't split your library, but bought all your games on GOG, none on Steam?
This was the video that convinced me to buy the original Rain World:

So I guess I will buy this DLC too.

EDIT: Done.
