Warlock and load.

Project Warlock is now available DRM-free, only on GOG.com.

Imagine if DOOM and Hexen got drunk one night and ended up skinny dipping. The pile of discarded clothes would perfectly fit Project Warlock, a retro-styled FPS with frantic combat featuring spells, guns, and ugly baddies waiting to be blown up in satisfying ways.

Project Warlock is an original, timed GOG exclusive launch title.

tinyE: Wait, no save points? :P

How does that work?
As Buckshot said in the pre-release thread:

In short – there is no midway checkpoints r manual saves throughout the level. If you die on one level you replay it from the start provided you got into a tight spot and didn’t pick up any health pickups. But this is not a game where two hits are instakill. Not on lower levels that is. And a run through the level can take between 2-10 minutes. With each run nearing the lower number once you are familiar with the layout.

Hope this clears things up :)
Throwing knives are my new jam <3
Let's keep things civil, I do admit confusion to why a user with such disdain for GOG wishes to spend their weekend posting on the forums, but that's their choice. Feel free to debate stuff within the topic, but let's stay calm about it :)

tinyE: "user"?

Linko, you are aware he doesn't have any games here, right? :P
He has vowed never to have any. That means he joined literally just to hang out in the forum and tell people how awful it is here and that they shouldn't use the site. Can you think of another business anywhere that would allow that?
Users with no games are allowed to discuss topics as long as they stay within the rules. Even if it is negatively, though if it descends into consistent ranting and claiming 'facts' which are not facts at all, moderation may need to step in.
I spent 2 hours messing on with the visual filters to create some kind of ZX Spectrum drug trip style. Time well spent.
