A slice of corporate success.

Pizza Connection 3 is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
A strong, irresistible smell permeates the streets of Rome. It's pepperoni with mozzarella, olive oil and...is that a hint of basil? It's coming from that quaint little street corner restaurant, whose proprietor now went on to become the owner of the world's biggest pizza empire. Known for their impeccable taste in interior decoration, eye for talent, and tight managing skills, they recently invented their very own pizza flavor, which took the world by storm! Their major competitors' cook claimed it was originally his idea but then he mysteriously disappeared while going to church one day. Rest in pepperonis.

Go for the Soundtrack edition or get the OST separately for your collection.

Get all the Pizza Connection games (previously known as Pizza Tycoon) with a 15% bundle discount.

Vadalma: Reference to US president Donald Trump in the video (from 0:30)?
Really? :)

But his face is mostly orange, not red :P
OK, sometimes it is really red. Too much pepper/peperoni/paprika.
I'm more offended by "Create and bake the most delicious pizzas" immediately followed by a pineapple and spinach atrocity.
What is a pizza chef’s favourite genre of anime?

I’m sorry both for this post being off-topic and for the quality of the pun.
So I guess we're getting DRM-free pizza.

Apparently the publisher of the retail version has made the disc actually smell like pizza. Just a shame that it's Steam-bound as I might have picked it up otherwise.
I don't know if I'm more flabergasted that:

a genre exists for making food and designing restaurants to sell it

this series is in its 3rd iteration

it costs $30 to make fake pizza

can someone explain to me why they like this stuff?

how do you "discover unique tastes" - ????

Mama mia la pizza mafia!
GOG - The 15% Bundle Discount does not work with the Soundtrack edition of the game.
Is "Popeye" Doyle in this or am I thinking of "The French Connection"?

Well, it's a pretty old series. The original game is about 25 years old by now.
It's a business sim, at it's heart. You manage a pizza parlour, and the decoration and pizza recipes will determine what kind of guests you're getting, with different cities (levels, basically) having different tastes in pizza. Hence the editor. Was fun to make all kinds of wierd pies 25 years ago, and I guess it still is. But you're in there to make mad moneyz, not wierd pizza (actually, you can do both, but you really knead the dough to advance in the game....).

You can also employ mafia methods to get rid of the competition. Last time I checked the series was rather tongue-in-cheek in regards to the whole realism thing.

According to the steam boards, it's a tad bit buggy at the moment. They also had a 20%-off-preorder, in case you prefer your pizza with some extra DRM and cheese.

IMHO it's nostalgia pandering, seeing that Pizza Connection 2 is old enough to drink by now (in case you're in Germany) or drive a car (in case you're in the US).
I'm not one for management type sims usually but pizza is right up my alley. Don't care if it's overpriced to some, it is worth it to me! But I will be excluding all vegetables from my pizzas.

Amen. Those wheelchairs taste awful.
Some day we'll find it. The pizza connection. The peppers. The sausage. And me.
I came here to say "Thirty bucks for this? No way!" But I won't, because too many of these responses made me laugh so I'm no longer interested in being snarky.
The game apparently featured a Unity specific bug in the Linux launch version, but I have no way of checking GOG's version number since it's not visible on the gamecard. Can someone confirm whether or not the bug is still present?

Why genre? Developers are allowed to make any kind of game, it doesn't have to adhere to some set of standards according to what games came before.

That being said, these are pretty straight-forward business sims, with an added dash of humour.

4th, actually, "Pizza Syndicate" was between parts 1 and 2. And it's because the predecessors were excellent games. Or so I've heard, I've only played the first, but I played it a lot. The series has a ton of fans.

That seems like a very appropriate, mid-range price for a new game. In other places, it costs $100+ to play fake football.

By creating recipes, having them rated, and learning what your customers like or don't like on a pizza.

Now I'm almost sure you're just trolling. What is so difficult to understand about the fun in a business management game?
