Pet detectives.

Pilot Brothers 2 and Pilot Brothers 3, the quirky point 'n' click adventures of the puzzle-solving duo, are available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

The persistent and barely competent mystery-solving siblings are back! In Pilot Brothers 2 brainy Brother Chief and clueless Brother Colleague have lost their beloved cat Arsenic to some ruthless kidnapper and if they don't hurry, the feisty feline might end up as the star of deranged chef Sumo's menu! Eugh, that can't be sanitary. It's only through a series of increasingly bizarre puzzles and hilarious mini-games that the two investigators will manage to save the day. And the cat.
Freeing a captured pet is no small feat but Pilot Brothers 3 ups the animal-rescuing ante to elephantine proportions. Curious animal disappearances and the Brothers' ever inquisitive minds lead the duo to Tasmania, where they will bust open another case full of slapstick situations and witty challenges. Cue the triumphant elephant trumpeting!

Navigate both Pilot Brothers 2 and Pilot Brothers 3 through a series of whimsical adventures, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 50% launch discount will last until August 16, 3:59 AM UTC.

oldgameryeah: I had heard that the 1st game has illogical puzzle so I did not buy the game. I am not very good with difficult puzzles.

For those here that have played the the 1st game could you tell me the level of difficulty.

Also, I would like to know the level of difficulty of the 2nd and 3rd games if you have already played them.

Thank you
Puzzles IS illogical, but the game is NOT difficult. It's illogical in funny way. The only hard puzzle is puzzle with refrigerator. But (funny thing) THIS refrigerator's puzzle can be solved entirely by using logic and thinking.

Second and third game is similar to first one in style and in difficulty, but a little bit harder and little bit more logical). Some puzzles need reaction. But for me - first one is better one.

You can look playthrough on youtube for each game and decide by yourself. It much simpler, than deciding difficulty by words of someone. Difficulty is a very individual thing. It depends on personal perception.
Lovely! I always used to mix those games in my head - believed all three to be one single game. Mostly I remember playing the third one as a kid. Lots of fun actually.

Thanks for bringing games to GOG.

eiii: Has anyone tried to run one of the Pilot Brothers games under Linux/Wine?
I've just tried the 2nd game very briefly. It works in Crossover for me, so it should work in Wine. I played the 1st one considerably more (the one which was added earlier this year, I think), and it also worked without any problems.

Sounds good. :) Thanks for testing and reporting!

I'm not sure if they are my kind of games, but as they seem to run under Linux I'll buy at least the first one.

JudasIscariot: I will in a bit :)
That's a long bit, you are too slow! :P

I started testing No Man's Sky and got distracted :P
Pilot Brothers 1 was rather enjoyable. Can't wait to check these 2 out.
The Steam reviews for Pilot Brothers 3 warn that there are 10 locations missing from the original PC release with 26 locations (apparently since this is a PC port of a new mobile version).

Since the GOG release has the same description as the Steam release I suppose this is true for the GOG release as well? Would it be possible to get the original PC game with all 26 locations on GOG even if it's only in russian?

14 Increasingly difficult levels to solve
2 Different characters: Brother Chief and Brother Colleague
Fast-paced, arcade mini-games and loads of absurdly witty mini-games!
Join the famed duo in their search for the missed animals!

Lafazar:
I read the same and probably won't buy this because of this and missing German text.

Yes, *sigh*, if I understand this page correctly, there were indeed 26 locations originally...
