About the game: it looks like more realistic Surviving Mars. And I liked Surviving Mars very much.

Very tempting!

Today seems to be a release extravaganza.
Looks interesting. I'll keep my eye out for reviews.

That drone combat in the trailer reminds me of an old indie game that had fleets of triangles battle it out between planets. I forget what its name was.

It's fixed.
Exactly my kind of thing! A demo would be great though...

As someone who played Surviving Mars a lot, realistic as in setting it more closer to our timeline or the technology?
high rated
Linux report time - the game works perfectly under Wine Staging + DXVK. It's Unity based so it would have been nice to have a Linux native version as well...

I meant Mars' topography. I'm currently watching some streams of Per Apera to get a better picture of the gameplay.
From reviews I've read, this game is good and has a really unique story.
I played this like... 30 hours across Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

The story is great. It's a "network building to efficiently move resources around" building type game. That part stales quickly; you stick with it for the compelling story. Which appears to branch.
