Great to see free DLCs coming for this game!

I'm also glad that they fixed a lot of balance issues with the game, so it's definitely on my radar, yet it's still wishlisted as I'm waiting for a sale for the main game though, as I like to buy more than one game for my $50-$60!

Same boat. I've been burned by a lot of cRPGs and I'm waiting for a more reasonable sale for this game. The mixed reviews and bugs etc. have not helped me jump the gun.

Please don't clear out your posts like this, it makes it difficult for people to follow the thread. I see that Screamshield bullied you into it, but you really shouldn't do this. Stand up for yourself! :)

Only in this day and age.... "Its free, but I demand more content!".

Many companies (especially the big AAAs who love mtxs and milking their players for every cent they can) out there release DLCs of this size *and* charge $2-$5 USD for it.

Yes, its only a few updated models, spells, and a pet. But its free. So what are you complaining about? Would you rather they charged for it?

What makes you think i edited it because someone told me to ? i edited my second post long before he brought it up and forgot about the first, no i did it because i said i skimmed through it and didn't read thoroughly so i missed "free dlc" therefore i corrected my mistake and what Screamshield said was only a fair point to make.

tbh i really like Owlcat, sure they screwed up the launch but they have really worked their asses off since then and listened to the people playing.

I'm very burned by modern games, I mostly stick with classics and indies lately as many of the bigger releases seem to be all flash and no substance. Nevermind nickel and diming players to death with hundreds of .99c crap DLCs and mtxs.

That being said, Kingmaker is definitely worth picking up. IMHO, it is the best RTwP to come out since Black Isle's heyday. Its not perfect, but they've cleaned up many of the issues since release. Its one of the few games I could justify paying the full price for. (Full *base price*. For *only $40 extra you get a bunch of digital swag with your game. yaaay. No thanks.)

100% with you on the $40 swag, IF it had a proper upgrade path for the extra-exclusive-wallet-buster-edition, then maybe, but as it stands; no... I wish this trend would die out already, DLCs/season passes are one thing, but to hell with this $80-$100 all, or nothing bullshit...

Unless of course, gog takes the base game in consideration when purchasing these packages!
