Explore the breathtaking alien world of Adelpha, support the local Talans in their struggles and fight your way through fast-paced battles against invading robot forces in this 3rd-person, open world, action adventure sequel to the 1999 cult classic.

Outcast - A New Beginning, developed by Appeal Studios and published by THQ Nordic, is now available on GOG!

20 years after the award-winning action adventure hit, Outcast, pioneered the genre of non-linear open-world games, the long-awaited sequel sees Cutter Slade return to the spectacular alien world of Adelpha. Resurrected by the almighty Yods, he has returned to find the Talans enslaved, the world stripped of its natural resources, and his own past intertwining with the invading robot forces. It's up to him to go on a mission and save the planet again.

A New Beginning comes from the original team behind Outcast 1, which has reunited to create this fascinating world, full of dangerous creatures and home to the Talan people – an ancient culture whose fate has become inextricably linked with earth since the events of the first game.

Expect to use your jetpack to jump, air-dash, glide, and quickly traverse the fantastic in-game open world, combine dozens of different modules to create your own personal weapon for taking down the robot invaders, have total control to approach the story at your own pace, explore the world without boundaries, discover hidden temples and dangerous wildlife, get familiar with the Talan culture while helping them free their villages and gain access to ancient Talan powers, experience a beautiful, hand-crafted world accompanied by an epic soundtrack by Outcast's original composer, Lennie Moore.

Prepare to once again jump into the skin of Cutter Slade and save the alien world of Adelpha – while you can now also get the Official Soundtrack!
Already downloading, hope it does the franchise justice.

The more important question is, why buy a game that's under 20 hours at full price?

I'd wait for a sale!
So much about the 17% off until midnight.

It is a AA tier game and reviews are ok but not better.
45 would be reasonable, 60 is to much.

At least 30 .

A modest 30~45% launch discount would go a long way to sell it to me right away. Otherwise, I will have to wait because there is a growing list of upcoming games higher on my list than Outcast currently is. :-)

Yeah, what were they thinking! They really should've padded it out with lots of mind-numbing open-world content so it hits an arbitrary price-to-play-time ratio. Just like if I'm gonna go to see a big-budget movie in the theater, it had better be well over 2 hours long -- that's how I know it's worth seeing!

Joke is on you.

Korean drama: At least 60 episodes per season.

And Asian movies: always 3 hours plus. The stories are better than Hollywood, and the tickets are way cheaper. If the movie is less than 2.5 hours, aunties will feel cheated, and give the ticket wala a good ear full. You don't get between an angry auntie and her movie.

A good Asian movie has a halftime intermission after 2 hours. That's when aunties go adjust their makeup, and get a refill on their drinks before they enjoy the second part of their movie night.

Meanwhile, Western movies are over so fast, you get out wondering what you are supposed to do with the other half of your popcorn.

so if they put in long stright corridors that made you walk in a line for 10 more hours, then that would be fine.

Are you one of the gamers who beats a game and never plays it again?
