Just how bad is this game? I've seen the numerous 3 star reviews on GOG and copies of the base game in the bargain bin.

Not bad at all. The bad reviews in general mostly come from the fact that it was buggy in the beginning (but it was patched several times) and the ones on GOG are there, because of the high price point and the game being in the middle of the debate if GOG should sell DLCs.

Many people who really played it say that it's a good or at least very solid game. Speaking for myself, I enjoyed it a lot (campaign and some multiplayer games). Just bought The Japanese Incentive to play it again in the future.

I'll keep that in mind. Whenever I see the game is on sale I think about it and remember the reviews and such. Thanks for the reply
So just to be clear - adding the the Japanese Incentive DLC to my Omerta: The Once For a Short Time Complete Pack WON'T give me the Gold Edition, is that right? Unless adding the DLC to my pack gives me one slick installer and an entry on my shelf that says "Gold Edition" Kalypso can go sniff my pants.

It won't.

Unless you click here many many times.
Which has been repackaged more times - Omerta: City of Gangsters or the Star Wars Special Editions? :p

Don't think it will either, but you have the same content as the gold edtion.

however i don't know if the gold edition have an installer for all content or the expansion is a separate one.

basically it's the same issue as Sword of the Stars : Gold Edition, i believe >.>
Sword of the Stars: the Pit Gold. Oh how that entry in the catalog mocks me. Does it have only one installer for all content? If not, can we PLEASE get a check so some sort that marks it as "You already own all the content from this game" or something?

I'm no web designer, but if the site already knows what I own, why can't it tell me I already own what I already own in this situation as well. Even when there are Bundles sold on here the site knows what I do and do not own from that bundle content. Why can't it do the same thing here?

I do not mind that these Gold (or complete, or GotY, or Platunum...) if they are not marked as "owned" if I do not in fact own that particular entry in the catalog. I DO mind (a quite large amount) that it completely ignores the fact that I own some, or all, of the content of that entry.

You are kind enough to constantly tell me "Nice! You own everything..." when you do sales, please extend that courtesy to these permanent entries in the catalog as well.

.. and while you are in there, bring back the "Hide Owned Games" toggle. Thankyou.

You can still hide owned games, just check attached image.

We used to be able to do that in the store as well. They removed that option for some hand wave reason and never brought it back.

For Sword of the Stars , they never fixed the problem with the gold edition not marked as "owned" even if you have all the contents. I asked to Judas 6 months ago , which told me to ask the support (which i did, if i recall correctly)

So the issue repeats itselt with Omerta. UNLESS it exists an installer with all content , but you need to have someone in those case (which waited to buy the gold editon, not the gold edition upgrade dlc or the japanese incentive dlc) which can confirm or deny this...

i pointed out the fact i own divinity : dragon commander + dlc , and the imperial edtion is marked as owned , and the dlc is a seperate installer.

Ingsoc85: So the full price is 30$? Is that mean that the base game (+4 DLC) price was permantly lowered? it use to be 40$ but now it 8$, although it could be just as result of the promo.

Btw well done for selling the base game at higher price then the "gold" edition...

Niggles: If i recall the base price was 39.99/40 at launch everywhere. People were not happy about that price....
It was reduced by (I think) round 30%, effectivly it was 23 Euros for me here on GOG.com!

Thanks for the link. Also I clicked many MANY times but I'm afraid only the first click had any effect.
Nice Promo, thanks
