Fair enough. Looks like they got the art style correct anyway.
Four frames animated sprites. I believe that makes these graphics more advanced and richer than any apple II Ultima version in the past. Music when entering towns, dungeons, battles...

Great length for a game like this (The same like Ultima V). Quality of life features. Exhaustive texts that feels and flows more natural and rich but conserving the minimalistic approach of the old Ultima games. Mission Journal, sidequests...

Graphics and text wise this game is an apple IIe game but to the limits. An achievement indeed. To me this is a true profesional game in an old platform.

Modern homebrewers have an advantage in that the systems they work on have been extensively documented over the years, so they can use techniques that were unknown to people programming for those systems during their prime years, often under deadline pressure.

Interesting.

Are there any other Apple 2 games that got expansion packs which require the original game to run? (I know Wizardry 2 and 3 require characters created in Wizardry 1, but once they're transferred over, the games can be played stand-alone.)
