GOG.com: Release: Not Another Weekend
Welcome to a humorous '80s-inspired point-and-click adventure, paying homage to the pop culture of that era.
The trend continues...

I feel so tired: Remove the " Good Old Game " tag from the Not Another Weekend page .
Agree, whoever is assigning those tags is not right in the head. 3d games become 2d, DLCs full games and unknown indies from 2021 Good Old Games.

Game loses me instantly by trying to say it's a game for pixel art enthusiasts.

I am a pixel art enthusiast, and Not Another Weekend is a perfect example of the kind of half-assed anachronism I can't stand in hipster fake-retro aesthetics. At least try to stick to a static resolution, having everything on screen being a complete mishmash of differently scaled pixels creates one hell of an ugly, messy presentation that resembles the free games cobbled together from ripped assets in Flash for Newgrounds from 20 years ago.

I second the right honorable gentleman from Australia.
Had this on my Steam wishlist for a long time. Gladly I didn't give in yet.
Release: Not Another Weekend and the coming soon of Murder on Space Station 52
"and the coming soon of"? :(
I'm glad the games are here if people want them. ;-)

I was hoping this was Murder on Space Station 13.

But this game just looks like "We took all the notes from Amanita Design, but mixed up Machinarium and Unmechanical on the test."

Oops. I suppose I forgot to realize that "Not Another Weekend" is another game, and not the name of the sale that benefits the new release.

Thanks for attaching some names to that look.
I was struggling to remember those games/devs.
All I could think was: "I know that graphics style from somewhere..."

Couldn't agree more. Unfortunate, as it might be a good game, but it's an absolute eyesore to me.

Heh, just noticed (after buying of course) that I had it on itch.io for some time. Could be worse.
Great news! Not Another Weekend is easily among the best point and click games i've played in the recent years, i have it on my Ipad.

Moss52 looks very interesting also, nice vibes.
