Lady Aribeth, you'll never walk alone.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is now available DRM-free, 25% off until October 18th 1pm UTC. Neverwinter Nights Diamond is now included in the Enhanced Edition as a free bonus goodie. Current owners of Diamond get an additional 25% off when purchasing the Enhanced Edition.

The D&N epic returns, now with subtle graphical improvements and a completely rebuilt multiplayer system, backwards compatible with all the mods, modules, and save games you were using in the original.

Get the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes several adventure modules, the game's Soundtrack and the Heroes of Neverwinter pack or grab each of them separately.

squishyfrog: Does this mean they removed the original game from the store, like they did with some other "Enhanced Editions?"

I don't mind EE's, but leave the original up too, especially if people own them. I'm wondering if I need to go quickly make a hard copy of my Neverwinter Nights 2 (from my profile here on GOG, where I own the original), before they possibly get rid of that in favor of a new 20$ version as well.
They removed the option to buy the original alone, but if you already owned it, it will still be in your library... you could literally have checked that in less time it took you to write that post...

paladin181: I got 60% on the Deluxe edition.
Right, that's what it says for me as well. 20,19 € (-2,20 € wallet credits) is still a lot for a game that old.

LeonKillsAshley: You're seeing a 50% discount? I own the original as well, but I see a 25% discount.

Yup. You get an extra 25% off if you already own the Diamond edition. Turns out if I visit the game page on Galaxy the proper discount shows up. Might need to clear browser cache to get the right discount outside of Galaxy though.

Silverhawk170485: Very strange. Galaxy sais that the game is not compatible with my Mac although there is a Mac version?

Next question is, if the Ehnhanced Edition is compatible with already existent mods, especially multiplayer mods.
Backwards Compatibility: Works with save games, modules, and mods from the original Neverwinter Nights. A galaxy of community created content awaits.
The mods should work...

Nice. :)

It is. But it's a lot cheaper than $52.... (What a weird pricepoint!)
They price them so high so the huge discount still gets them their cash.
Thx for the discount, guys! :)

Is the 25% discount for owners of Diamond permanent, or will it only last as long as the initial sale?

truhlik: LOL, not yet released more than 30 mins and overall rating is less than 2.0 :)

There is no version comparison between normal and deluxe editions? New GoG's store feature?
Weird.

I see that. And the overall rating is also increasing. But was about 1.8 in time I was posting it.

Weird.
And the basic version's page does not have links to the DLC or the complete edition.
WHere the hell are the links for this game? Not showeing up on my computer...

Just to give Linux users an idea what you'll find: The game is Linux native (no wrappers / Wine etc) and comes with a 32bit binary.

Also compared to the original game, it has a few new graphical effects such as Ambient Occlusion, more Saturated Colors, Depth of Field, Sharpness and a High Contrast effect. You can turn off/on all of these settings individually.

I also loaded an old NwN savegame from the original release and it did so just fine. A good re-release of a beloved classic overall.

How dare you say anything positive about a Beamdog release!! :)

I'd love to see Beamdog make the switch to 64-bit for their Linux games. There's not too many reasons to still be 32-bit.

tinyE: OOOPS, I bought the regular EE without the modules.

Meh, screw it, I'll buy em later, and I really don't want the soundtracks.
The EE Deluxe is about $21 if you own the original. The regular edition with all the modules without the soundtracks is about $29. It's a fairly big difference plus you get all the extras (soundtracks, extra character portraits, artbook) in the deluxe edition on top of it all.
