Mafwek: Would you mind going into specifics of why Neon Chrome is better than Jydge? Only thing you mentioned is blandness of the Jydge.
I hadn't given it much thought, sorry. Leroux provided a possible explanation better than I could have. Both games look and work virtually the same, engine-wise, but while Neon Chrome gripped us and kept us going, we really tried to get into Jydge, looking for more of the same, and just couldn't. That's probably the reason. We wanted to progress from Neon Chrome but got more of an alternative version, starting from zero again. Understandable, of course, because different game, but not what we were looking for at the time.

Now I'm curious to retry Jydge, given that a year or so has passed, and I'll suggest it next time we get an opportunity.

In other words, disregard everything I said. :)

Breja: I absolutely loved Jydge, but this actually sounds a lot different. The fun in Jydge was that every level worked like a puzzle of sorts. Sure, it's all full of fun, fast action, but figuring out over multiple attempts how to get to all the various and often contradictory objectives with all the possible weapons/powers combinations is what really made it great. And here we have randomly generated levels? I don't know, that doesn't exactly make me enthusiastic...

omega64: Not just that, it's a Roguelite. So you'll have to grind for upgrades.
Jydge is a rogue like? Thanks for the announcement dude, off my wishlist it goes!
