I haven't know this series until recently but I'm becoming interested. Is this third chapter connected to the first two games?
EDIT: I have seen that it's from the same dev of A.D. 2044 and read the reviews of the older titles. Hard pass for me.

"Nemezis: Mysterious Journey III (Previously called Schizm 3: Nemezis), is an adventure game being developed by Detalion Games [...] and the sequel to Schizm: Mysterious Journey and Schizm II: Chameleon. Unlike the previous games, the plotline is not authored by acclaimed Australian science fiction writer Terry Dowling. "

Okay now i get it

Now what´s left, is to have Schizm 2: Charmeleon on GOG. Right? Or is Schizm 2 actually Reah Chameleoned?

Why are things so complicated?

It's not about GOG. It seems to be a matter of copyright with the word Schizm. It doesn't seem so complicated to me. To my understanding, the devs can't call the game Schizm but want to make clear that it's the third game in the series. I might be wrong and others will know better.

A.D. 2044 was developed by L.K. Avalon, not Detalion. The link is that L.K. Avalon published Detalion's earlier titles.

Nope, Schizm II really is missing from here. Reah is the game they made before the first Schizm (I've heard reports that Schizm was originally called Reah II during development). You can get Schizm II "DRM-free" at GamersGate if you like, no idea why it's not here.

Thank you very much.

If Schizm is copyrighted, it would be less confussing if the third game was called Schizzzm. :D

Looks neat. Wishlisted for now.

Wish I was big brained enough to solve the puzzles though.

Thanks for the heads up with GG, will pick it up after I get NMJ3 as I'm getting some Obduction vibes, wishlisted as I already went above my budget!

thanks for all the clarifications! I tried A.D. 2044 as a freebie and let's say I was not impressed.

I haven't even played A.D. 2044 - the synopsis reads like some incel fever dream! Put me off enough to not even try downloading it.

Reah is an imaginative game with a disappointing ending and some very obtuse puzzles. Schism 1, while not perfect, is a lot better in terms of plot and puzzles. I haven't played Schizm 2 yet, but I bought it from GamersGate recently.
I'm looking forward to this new one but I need a new graphics card before there's any point in me getting it.

It's not even that. There's free amateur stuff on itch that's better. It's incredible that it's sold in a store. Nothing makes sense as gameplay/design goes. You can try it for 5 minutes to have a laugh.
Well, as it's not related with that mess, and given that there is a German patch, I am interested in Schizm games again XD

No it is not. Someone should fix that.

Sorry for the confusion, but there is no discount on the collection.
Looks like a decent Myst-like. Any first impressions?
