A new shape has appeared on GOG.COM’s space radar to celebrate the beginning of our Summer Sale. Metro Exodus is an action-packed FPS game based on the best-selling novels from Dmitry Glukhovsky.

In the year 2036, a quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence in the tunnels of the Moscow’s Metro. As Artyom, you must flee the underground shelter and lead a band of refugees on a continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia aboard the Aurora, a heavily modified steam locomotive.

Until the end of Summer Sale - 15th June, 1 PM UTC - Metro Exodus is available on GOG.COM with a 50% discount.

Digital_CHE: I have the same problem with the XGP version of the game. It crash A LOT.

Few days ago I installed Epic Store Client on my Linux machine via Lutris and I don't have the crashes I have in the XGP version.

Now, I wonder if they fixed the night vision bug on CASPIAN chapter that makes the enemy spot you when you are using the night vision googles while you are crouched..
it literally became unplayable for me... hope the DRM-free is better...

Okay, if Metro Exodus freezes when you launch game or after some time you play in - just disable GOG Galaxy Overlay and this will solve many problems. Worked for me. Also, looks like game strated to work slightly faster with overlay turned off.

Umm... It doesn't work very well in DX12 it has Computer Overheating issues in that mode that is why it is crashing.

What PC do you have BTW?

on my i9 9900KF it Cooks!

Make sure you've disabled Galaxy's Overlay and Geforce Overlay. That fixes the crash when using DX 12.

Under extras/bonus content there is an entry “Metro Exodus” that I am unable to click on/download? Is is supposed to be something, or just a glitch?
