Better get ready to take to the skies for gripping air-assault missions, because Megafortress Collection is now available on GOG with a -33% launch discount! Fly fast to get it, because the offer lasts until April 14th, 1 PM UTC! This complete package includes the original 1991 DOS classic Megafortress, the Operation Sledgehammer and Operation Skymaster expansions, and the Mission Editor for Operation Skymaster.

The Megafortress is a radically modified B-52 bomber with advanced stealth capabilities and enough firepower to destroy heavily fortified enemy installations. It’s a complex aircraft that demands attention to a dizzying array of tasks. The original Manual and a new Quick Start Guide are included with this release of the game to aid those who would seek to master control of this devastating aircraft. Assume multiple roles, including Pilot, Navigator, Electronic Warfare Officer, and Offensive Weapons Officer as you conduct air assaults on historic battlefronts around the world!

Now on GOG!
Great release.

However it is missing the manuals for the two expansions only manual is for the base game.
Speaking of flight simulators I would love to see here, Battlehawks 1942. Yes the game had low framerate issues, but it was sooooooo good!

I don't know who has the rights for it, but I hope we see it here..

I made an extensive video on it, including look at the contents of the box, some months ago.

Lucasfilm Games. So I'd Say Disney

It was developed by Lawrence Holland, well known for their later XWing or Tie Fighter, etc.

The game was continued with a couple of similar titles, Their Finest Hour and Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. The Latter a true gem of a game.
It doesn't show up in my GOG Galaxy library after purchase. At least I have the manual download option on the website (and I suppose it's more common it's the other way around), but it's an annoying issue.
Seeing Strike Commander is on the list, made me "positive" that the WWI themed sim from Origin, "Wings of Glory", was also on GOG... but it's not. Likewise, Pacific Strike is also missing here, although I have them both in box. Still keeping fingers crossed.
What a name for a series of games. Great to have this on here.

Maybe you were thinking of Cinemaware's Wings[!] (which has two separate versions available here)?

Well... I own Wings!, and all the Origin games (in boxes), but just misremembered its name. I knew it started with Wings, and thought maybe... "Wing Commander"...? But no, that's another genre entirely. :)

No, you were right, in fact Strike Commander had a couple of spinoffs developed with the same engine, same gameplay and concept. Wings of Glory based in the WWI and Pacific Strike, based in WWII in the pacific If I am not wrong
