Turn-based strategy game with resource management and a deck building mechanic – Master of Puppets is now available on GOG!

Each turn, cards are played to build and upgrade a squad of Mechs. The Mechs can be moved around on the game board to protect strategic locations, gather resources, find treasure and, most importantly, attack enemies.

Master of Puppets comes with a variety of game modes, including a growing library of handcrafted stories and an infinite number of procedurally generated campaigns. Procedurally generated campaigns have 3 planets of 12, 18 and 24 maps to a total of 54 maps per campaign. As you unlock each location you will be able to collect more cards.

This should be on auto start whenever people come into the thread because we all know it's what popped into mind first :)

On a related note the game does look interesting, may need to dive deeper into it.

Black Album FTW.
Is the game similar to MissionForce: CyberStorm?
I think that part of game's description is incorrect, as it stated:

"Get the free demo today, or play the single map preview directly in your browser:"

Seems like demo is only available on Steam, not on GOG.

Anyway, I'm very curious about this one, so I think I'll use the demo to check how good it is.

edit: Appareantly, demo from Steam doesn't work on my PC at all. seems like I won't try it :(

That was my first Metallica album, purchased on cassette in 1984, and was my favorite album by that band for the longest time. I finally came to appreciate Kill 'em All more than Ride the Lightning around 2010.
A demo on gog would be nice, especially since one exists. I don't really think deck building belongs in a mech game, but maybe the game is good anyway.

My dad loves the Black Album, but I always prefer... And Justice For All

On a more serious note - currently only the Mac version is available for download, if you could fix that sometime later today, that'd be great. Thanks.

Saint Agur maybe
I believe I'll wait for the (imaginary) DLC expansion pack including new reverse/reflect card abilities and different healing mechanics which shall be titled Pastor of Muppets.
