Things are looking pretty Grimm around here.

Mary Skelter: Nightmares is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 40% off until July 26, 2pm UTC.
After an otherworldly attack transforms Japan's largest city into a living Jail, humanity is left to lick its wounds. Quite literally, in fact. See, the supernatural hullabaloo gave birth to Blood Maidens, girls with special powers fueled by monster blood spatter. Know your teammates, master this peculiar battle mechanic and then crawl through the first-person 3D dungeons with care, if you want to see your intrepid heroes through this bloodbath.

Okay, I'm admittedly not normally into otaku-pandering stuff - but I've actualy been itching somewhat for a modernized Wizardry clone.

The fact that this is from Idea Factory though, feels like a red flag for me...

Could someone clarify for me exactly how rapey and pedotastic this is?

I never liked an Idea Factory game so far, but I do like dungeon crawlers... should I get it or not, hmm...

WTF?

Been wanting a PC port of this since it launched after my Vita died, now not only does it come but it comes to GOG?

Damn the launch coming a week and a half before I get paid!

We need GOG Connect for that though, the DLC explosion that was Noire...

As much as I want it here I paid more for DLC than I did for the game, don't want to do that against n to get it moved to GOGm

Well dialogue events are presented in VN style so the tags are not TOTALLY wrong.

I have a lot of games that present dialogue in VN style. In fact, I'd say the entire IF lineup on gog is the same. It seems they corrected the tags, though, so my point is moot. I just didn't want the game to lose sales because of the VN haters out there.

That's quite true about IF games. The entire Neptunia series, Fairy Fencer F, MeiQ and ofc this game just to name a few are all presented that way. I quite like it actually. But in every case there is more "game" than VN, so to speak.

Would be nice yes but i wouldnt double dip for that one, personally. Mary Skelter did EVERYTHING better as a dungeon crawler.

Well damn, I was about to buy this, but now I'm not so sure.

Weird thing is, the other day I was thinking it might be amusing to make a Might & Magic party of Disney Princesses, and now there's a tile-based-crawler with at least one of them (Snow White) as an actual character.

For the current price i'm definately double dipping despite the fact i mentioned and already owning this physically for the vita. It's just that good.

As a side-side note, i read that MS1 will be unlockable AFTER you beat MS2 (Or alternatively insta-unlocked by downloading a free DLC). <---- (On the PS4 version of Mary Skelter 2)
