He's the brick Gotham deserves...

LEGO Batman: The Videogame, your caped crusade across the camp streets of Lego Gotham, is available now for Windows, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount!

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the dark knight into the silly and customisable world of LEGO. The success of Star Wars and Indiana Jones sparked huge demand for further entries into the pop-culture mashups, thus LEGO Batman: The Videogame game was born. The basic formula remains as always - you can expect more platforming, brawling, and block-collecting fun. But this is hardly just more of the same, LEGO Batman: The Videogame was the first of the series to introduce a completely original storyline and voice acting. Cool Gotham locations, countless heroes and villains, and multiple situational costumes make this one of the most impressive entries in the LEGO franchise ever.

Save Gotham one brick at a time in LEGO Batman: The Videogame, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The 50% launch discount will last for one week, until Thursday, February 19, at 1:59 PM GMT.

TWITCH STREAM SPECIAL
Memories in 8-bit takes to saving Gotham in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. Join him on his caped crusade in his Thursday edition of GOG.com Classics - that's today, February 12th, at 7pm GMT / 2pm EST / 11am PST!

I doubt it, as they would need to make an effort to get the MP working. They might not deem it worth the effort. Ah well, I guess we'll find out eventually eh? ;)

I don't care about the multiplayer, I just want to beat up all those DC characters with all those other DC characters! :D

Klumpen0815: Just a moment....
we got something with a DC license (Batman)...
we got Mortal Kombat...

Is there a real chance for Injustice - Gods Among Us on GoG?!
I was tempted to pirate this game since it's only available with Steam-DRM afaik, but I was able to resist and stay true to my ideals.
Would love to have it here (actually would love to finally have it at all), with the Lobo DLC (and the others) included of course.
DC IPs are no problem for WB seeing as they own DC Comics. They can pretty much do whatever they want with DC characters. So any game that WBIE put out with DC characters *should* be a piece of cake for them. At least as as far the DC rights go. However there might technical issues or DRM or whatever.

Now this is the case with games that WBIE themselves have published, but any games were they licensed DC IP to 3rd parties might well be problematic. None of this rules out other legal issues like deals with local distributors for example either.

But yeah this deal totally opens the door to games based on works by DC Comics.

wcdeadpool: Hi guys!
Just bought the game but I can't find a way to change the language. It's supposed to feature french language but I can only play in english... Thanks a lot! ;)
It's strange that no one else has answered you before now -- I guess they're all hanging out in the other new release threads. ; )
I haven't bought this game, so I can't say for sure in this case, but for most multi-language games that I do own, there is a different version of the installer for each supported language. Have you made sure to download the French version of the game installer? (There is probably a language-selection dropdown box right next to the download link for the main installer in your library.) I know that most games allow one to change language options from within the game, but perhaps this one has an entirely different version for each language...?
Unfortunately, if you are sure you had downloaded the FR installer, and there isn't any obvious way to change language or turn on French subtitles in-game, then I have no more ideas. : (

But, then, there is always GOG Support. =)

Hi!

Yes I already checked that but for now the english installer is the only one available to download. Maybe the other languages are gonna show up a little later... Or maybe they'll just add a language selector. But for now I'm already enjoying the game in english ;) Thanks anyway dude!

If anyone ever finds the answer to this question it would be very much appreciated if that person could tell which languages are available for choosing. Thanks in advance.

Hi ! :)
Some games on GOG have a language "switcher" that is in your game folder (and there should be a shortcut for it on your windows menu, look for shortcuts inside the folder of the game).
Hurray! LEGO games on GOG.com! Instant buy, nice work! :-D
