Looks fun.
I have a kinda ignorant question:
How do leaderboards work in games like this? I always use the offline installers to install my games, but I'm guessing I'd need to use Galaxy for the leaderboards to work?

Yes. Leaderboards are in Galaxy. You can only play in casual mode in offline mode.
