Sight-shooting at the pyramids.

Immortal Redneck is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 20% launch discount until August 29, 1 PM UTC.

In this old-school FPS with rogue-lite elements you play an accidentally mummified redneck tourist, lighting up the gosh-darned monsters infesting the three pyramids of Giza. Ain't worth your bullets? Mess 'em up with magical weapons or unleash your Potato Launcher upon their ugly mugs. Yep.

Watch the trailer.

V4V: No offence, but it would be nice to all readers if you would shorten long quotes, especially if your own comment is just one sentence.
As the information of his post is the entire point, nope.

The little grey arrow at the end of a quote is a link to the quoted post, so you don't have to quote it entirely to refer to it.

It's netiquette. Goes all the way back to Fidonet.

With me, you'll see '*snip*' quite often when I use the quote function.

It's even a part of RFC 1855:

https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1855.txt

- Read all of a discussion in progress (we call this a thread)
before posting replies. Avoid posting "Me Too" messages,
where content is limited to agreement with previous posts.
Content of a follow-up post should exceed quoted content.

edit: Having said that and now skimmed the other posts in this thread, necro'ing only exists in the minds of those who have nothing else to complaining about. As someone who works tech support forums (edit And has for well over 2 decades) and understands that some folks actually do use google to find their answers to their questions, having all of a discussion in one place is what is needed. Multiple unconnected threads isn't the way to help folks.

This ain't my first rodeo fellas, I know how a forum works. You're not educating me, we're disagreeing.

Yes, we disagree. But that doesn't mean one or some of us may be educated in the process. Being open to change one's views is preferable if we don't want to stagnate in our maybe as wrong as long-held positions.

Experience is a double-edged sword. It can also mean that people are doing things wrong for a long time and are even more resistant to change their accustomed behavior. That's the way our brains work to avoid permanent distractions by doubting our every action.

That said, neither our experience nor our intentions matter much in this (or any) argument. What do you say about our actual arguments? What are yours for your current position?

Mine is that it's inconvenient for the audience to scroll across a wall of text they either already read in the same thread or could be pointed to easily by a link provided by you or the forum software, just to read a single line of appreciation to the original poster from you. Imagine everyone doing that, would you like it to search for little snippets of new information among an ever-repeating bulk of text?

Push...

Steam already has version 1.3.3 (version 1.3 delivered a new gamemode!), has OST DLC to buy and the game was already on sale with 30% discount.

Here on GOG we still have version 1.2.3, NO DLCs / extras and no sale until now.

Is this another case of developer giving GOG users the shaft? When can we expect the "big" update? I thought about purchasing the title, but it's handling here is not the best I must say. :(

Breja: And I'm sick to death of randomly generated levels.
Is that what rogue lite means now. I thought it was like the type of things rogues get up too. If it means procedural or some other generate levels then they should say that instead of the retarded labels.

Look, we're talking about posting preferences here, nothing more. There's no views being discussed and no-one is going to walk away having gained a new perspective on things. I'm not going to formulate a position because I'm not trying to convince you of how you should be posting, just clarifying matters and that's it. There's not going to be a debate on this.
