We announced that they are coming soon just before the weekend, and we couldn’t keep you waiting any longer! Super hot titles from the iconic RPG series Rance, are now available on GOG with a -20% discounts that last until January 3rd, 8 PM UTC.

With the first game dating as early as 1989, through the years, the incredibly engaging story follows a character of Rance, a powerful warrior, and his many quests and missions. But with every title of the series, few things remain the same – they are all great JRPGs and visual novels, offer fun-filled hot gameplay, and provide experiences that won’t leave you soon after playing through them.

Let’s take a deeper dive on what awaits you in those games:

Rance 01 + 02
Rance 01 is a remake of "Rance -Quest for Hikari-" from 1989. The original menu-based adventure game has been revamped with a new script, new graphics, new sounds, and a new battle system. In this one, brutal warrior Rance's mind is filled to the brim with naughty thoughts, and wherever he goes, beautiful women await. For the most part, this is an adventure game where your choices determine what actions you take to progress through the story. And obviously, danger goes hand in hand with adventure. Some choices might lead to you taking damage and dying unexpectedly, while others might lead to fortuitous encounters.

When it comes to Rance 02, we already know our peerless warrior Rance as a great fighter, a quick thinker, and a man with possession of powerful luck. These qualities alone would mark him as a hero to go down in history, but unfortunately, he has no interest in using his talents for such things as world peace or justice, and acts only to fulfill his own desires. Now, the town of Custom is in danger, and the one who's accepted a quest at the guild to help them is none other than Rance (and his helper Sill).

Rance VI + 5D
Rance 5D takes place in the same universe as the rest of the series, but it tells a standalone story and can be played with no knowledge of the previous Rance games. These are stories where Rance is but a simple swordsman going on adventures. After fooling around too much and burning through all his funds, Rance reluctantly takes his companions Sill and Athena 2.0 with him on some adventuring work. But while fighting through a dungeon, they get lost in the caves and can't find any way out. After some trouble, they eventually arrive at a mysterious castle inhabited by youkai

Rance VII takes place some time after Rance 5D. Rance has once again spent all his money and taken a job in the magical Kingdom of Zeth with Sill. In Zeth, however, mages are considered superior and non-mages are treated as 2nd class citizens, sparking events that lead to Rance's confinement. What appears to be a prosperous nation is, in reality, rife with poverty and oppression against all who can't use magic.

Sengoku Rance
It’s an entry where after doing immeasurable damage on the Continent, the now brute Rance traveled with Sill to the island country and his goal is to get a lot closer with all the Nippon's beautiful princesses, samurai, miko, ninjas, village girls, and more. In particular, he desires Kouhime of the prominent Oda clan. When Rance becomes the ruler of one of the feudal states, he charges head first toward uniting Nippon!

With Winter Sale discounts, there’s never been a better time to explore Rance adventures and enjoy the steamy fun that they provide!

Magnitus: So I guess you don't play 4X space strategy games? You didn't play GTA? How about Hotline Miami? Overloop? Party Hard? Street of Rogue? Tyranny? Factorio? Ronin? Syndicate? Disciples? Dungeon Keeper?

In a game like Battle Brothers, you've never given chase to fleeing enemies or take a morally ambiguous contract? In a shooter involving people, you always go straight for the exit in the most efficient path possible without clearing the whole level and killing everyone? In RPGs, you quit if you're not playing a good character... no room for an anti-hero? In a game where you can kill innocent bystanders, you restart if you killed a civilian until you get it just right? In any game involving violence where the story is unclear (and they are a dime a dozen), you quit if you don't know for sure you're playing the good guy and killing all those peoples for the right reason? In a game that has stealth, you never use the element of surprise to kill someone even though if this was RL, they could surrender?

These are games. Don't look too deeply for meaning about your life and identity in them. It is not representative of how you'd behave in real life. It doesn't mean anything.

Here's a kicker, there could be someone masturbating to some of those rape scenes in games that's a better more charitable human being overall than you or I. Heck, I have an evil sense of humour, but I couldn't kill even a chicken unless I was starving. Life is full of paradoxes.
Yes I'm desensitized to murder, but I don't find it gratifying.

Well, I don't like violence when it is represented in too realistic a manner, but when it is over the top like this, I think it is just hilarious: https://www.gog.com/en/game/overloop

Same thing for movies like Nightcrawler or Dr Strangelove or Snatch.

I guess when I watch over the top violence in fiction, I find it absurd and laughter ensues. There's such a big disconnect between what is normal for these characters and what is normal in my life that I can't help, but think that those people are crazy.

Oh great. This site has become a freaking Hentai store. I used to recommend this site to my sister and my nieces...

GoG is not satisfied to simply publish Porn games anymore, it has to be Rape Porn to add insult to injury...

Please, GoG, update the site so you can select to auto-skip such announcements and block such games.

Maybe add an "adult" category, which is only accessible if you add your birthday etc.?

Right now we have "Action", "Adventure", "Indie", "RPG",.. "Movies". It would be simple to have an additional category that's handled separately.

Have you ever thought that maybe, just MAYBE lol, they keep pumping hentai games out because they've found a profitable niche? if so you should actually be happy that GOG has found a reliable source of income, because things were getting a bit... dire, with the sustainability of the store
Boy the Popcorn has become strong in this one.

Although I still can't get over the irony of the comment (I mean GoG advertised the Postal series on the front page).
Yeah as said before they should add a category like that and make categories you're not interested in hideable generally.
