Indeed! I think I was using 800x600 and 16 bit colour for my desktop by then.
If this isn't the definition of "niche" then I'm a flying pig...
As much as I dislike games that skimp on actual gameplay (i.e. point&clicks, HOGs), this one looks trippy and nostalgic, plus it looks like it dispenses with the usual ''try every inventory item on everything until something happens'' trope of adventure games. Wishlisted.

Or build things, or manage resources, or choose between different playstyles. A good game does not come down to trying to figure out the exact action the developer wants you to do next in order to progress. Games that rely on story and atmosphere have their place but the appeal is not in the gameplay. As a kid I played these a lot, I was impatient and often used guides but still loved them to bits.
