Heroes of Hammerwatch: Witch Hunter is now available DRM-free.

Witch Hunter is a new class in Heroes of Hammerwatch, with its own set of skills. Beside new class, DLC adds new items, among them Tools of Exorcism set, exclusive Raven companion and Blood Rites, new dungeon mechanic.
Hmm.

I got a little excited... thought it was for the first Hammerwatch, which I have... but I don't have the sequel "Heroes" yet... maybe there's a reason for that :|

DLC's for the second game. Cheer's.
Always love an evening (evening in Michigan) release. :D
Puts a nice bow on the day.

Of course, the Hammerwatch games being so good helps too.
Wow! A 1am release here in the UK! What's going on? Someone at GOG suffering a bout of insomnia?
Love the integrated versions. Glad to see devs participating. Will get this once backlog permits.
Now this is an early Thursday release :)

Despite all appearances, UK is NOT the center of the world. :P

Perhaps not, but only being an hour behind Poland, I still think it was a relevant question to ask. How many 2am (Polish time) releases do we see around here? :p
I thought the name sounded familiar and wondered why I never got it, then I looked at the main page. Why is Galaxy required for multiplayer? Pass.

I was thinking about someplace else than europe (or UK :P). But I checked and the devs seems to be Danish, so. :P

And why would the release hour would matter anyway? :P

But yeah, you're right in that it is not a regular hours of release.

Because not every dev wants to implement everything from scratch? Especially multiplayer.

If the devs would be Norwegian, I would have guessed they're from the island of Sommaroy:
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/norway-sommaroy-island-time-free-zone/index.html

Norway island wants to be world's first time-free zone

The locals, having endured the long polar night from November to January, when the sun doesn't rise at all, make the most of these precious months, with no regard to conventional timekeeping.

"There's constantly daylight, and we act accordingly," says islander Kjell Ove Hveding in a statement. "In the middle of the night, which city folk might call '2 a.m.,' you can spot children playing soccer, people painting their houses or mowing their lawns, and teens going for a swim."

:D

I just thought it very strange that there was someone sitting in the GOG offices at 2am releasing games!

I imagined a bored GOG employee, unable to sleep wandering into the office thinking, "What can I do? I know, I'll release a game!" :-D

I'm pretty sure they have automated procedures. :P

You think? With the number of mistakes we see in release posts? :-o
