Serment - Contract with a Devil and Heart of the Woods are now available DRM-free. Get them 20% off until April 17th, 1pm UTC.

Heart of the Woods is a fantasy yuri visual novel filled with magic, fairies, and a ghost girl. When Maddie and her best friend, Tara, journey to a remote forest village to investigate rumors of the supernatural, they find a whole lot more than they bargained for.

Serment - Contract with a Devil is a visual novel/dungeon crawler hybrid featuring highly tactical turn based RPG battles, challenging dungeon puzzles, optional minigames and most importantly, a lot of cute anime girls.

Crisco1492: Has anyone played Serment - Contract with a Devil? I tried to play Mary Skelter: Nightmares, but the dungeon exploration sections were a drag... I want to give the genre another chance, but I'm wary.

dtgreene: I'm actually somewhat interested in Serment, but I am more interested in the dungeon crawling. How is the game as a dungeon crawler?

(Also, does it work with WINE?)
I downloaded the Steam demo yesterday, but I haven't actually given it a spin. But you'd probably want someone with more experience playing dungeon crawlers than me.

(No comment on WINE)

Ok first of all, the game works natively in Linux.

As for the dungeon crawler aspect, It is your standard Wizardry style with a 3 member party and turn based combat (Battles feature an FF style ATB gauge). Grid based movement+ automap.
Anything else you would like to know?

EDIT: Forgot to mention the stamina meter. Once that runs out, the party member in question returns to town. This feature can be disabled
