Gravewood High and its DLCs: Chapter 1 and Complete are now available on GOG!

Gravewood High is an infinitely replayable stealth horror game set in high school and available to play for free! Try to escape alone or with up to five friends as you navigate destructible environments and randomized level layouts. Face off against a smart AI opponent that develops new abilities the more you play.

Gravewood High - Chapter 1 features the first chapter of Gravewood High’s single player campaign. Several students have gone missing at Gravewood High and none of the adults seem to have noticed. Together with your friend Erin you have to confront the cunning Teacher, reach the mysterious Tower and figure out what is behind the madness that has permeated the walls of Gravewood High. The mystery may just capture your mind and refuse to let go. It is available with a -20% Summer Sale discount that lasts until the end of the event.

Gravewood High - Complete lets you enjoy the complete version of the game including single-player and all future content. Gain access to new levels, puzzles, Teacher transformations and player powers as they are released! This DLC is also discounted -20% for our Summer Sale.

Check them out now!
Kinda like "Saiko no Sutoka"...

I really wish that demos would called be called demos, rather than games.

And that games that are still in early access would not be called complete.

I'm glad it contains "a digital art book located in the game’s Steam folder"
Don't they look more like elementary / middle school kids?

> Gravewood High and its DLCs:

another disgusting developer practice. posing a demo as a free game and selling the actual game as dlc. and if you buy chapter 1 (why? what's in the demo then?) there's no way to just buy the rest either, only the 'complete' game and paying for chapter 1 again. if gog had an ignore button, these fuckers would go right on that list. and if gog had any sort of actual curation, they wouldn't be here at all.
The fact that this developer is trying to be all sneaky and call their demo a full game is reason enough to never download it.

Oh and the "Chapter 1" DLC suggests that isn't even going to be the full game either. No need to call something Chapter 1 unless there's a Chapter 2.
"The complete version includes:

Level 1, which consists of 5 different segments. The average time of one playthrough is 1-3 hours. Mr. Hyde remains in his human form, but there are several nasty traps in his arsenal, so watch out!

Access to future levels and content. Each level will be highly randomized, increasing the amount of unique playthroughs: loot, the Teacher’s behaviour and traps, rooms, puzzles, etc. will change from one run to another. We also plan to add even more interactivity to the game’s environment by adding more destructible objects and making it possible to disarm some of the Teacher’s traps and use them against him.

A more interesting and challenging opponent. As future levels are released, the Teacher will transform physically and develop new abilities, becoming smarter and much more dangerous. Simply hiding is not enough. In order to win, you must outwit the Teacher and lure him into traps.

Many optional (and more difficult) puzzles will be added, with cool rewards that enhance your playthrough.

The first Player Power - destroying walls and objects, as well as access to future gameplay-changing powers that will be added to the game (teased in the roadmap)."

This actually screams InDev louder than my Tinnitus. So why is it not mentioned on the store page? Also, no word on how many future chapters they even plan and how long the development would take.

Thanks, but no thanks. If I could review a store page I would rate this one with 1 star but since it is not about the actual game I simply won't t rate it but I also won't buy it.

Edit: Geralt_of_Rivia clarified that the game IS in fact InDev which is mentioned in the last paragraph. So this post can be ignored. Sorry for the confusion I might have caused.

That's because it is. It looks like GOG just forgot to put the InDev stamp on it.

Quote from the store page (last paragraph):

Note - Gravewood High is still in Early Access. Contents of the roadmap are subject to change as development on the game progresses further. Regardless of any changes introduced, our goal remains the same - to make a highly replayable game that surprises you with every run.

Well. GOG made many mistakes in all these years ... this time they almost did one that would hurt one of their beloved "partners". Thank you for the correction and the explanation.
This seems like a game in search of a licence. Also not offering a full game because it's part of DLC is kind of moronic isn't it?
I gave the demo a chance and at least for me the controls and the physics are pretty bugged. Character is tilting to the side without me doing anything and physics are all over the place when you have to unplug a certain cable .... it is InDev but it idid not give me the best impression.
