Magnitus: Tried it. I don't think it works. I don't see the game in my account and the code is used up.

HunchBluntley: It apparently sometimes takes hours, or even a few days. for the Prime Gaming redemptions to actually show up in people's libraries, so be a bit patient. :)
Thanks for the heads up. It got added.

I was a little on the fence given how behind the Steam version the GOG version is, but I won't say no to a free game ;).

Sternitzky: Hogwash. Steam has Windows as well.
Really ?

Puntolory: I noticed that the game is only available on Windows on GOG, while on Steam there are MacOS and Linux binaries available as well.

What do you mean hogwash? I have GWYF downloaded on both Steam and GOG. Steam downloads the native Linux version, GOG downloads the Windows version (runs perfectly via Proton/Wine FWIW)

Magnitus: I'll take a wild guess that some features like the editor might have Steam integrations that are hard to pull out.
The level editor and sharing maps heavily depended on Steam Workshop integration so I imagine that's why.

And hence a big part of the reason why I hate Steam. Making as large a part of the gaming industry as they can manage captive with their proprietary sh*te ingrations.

I can confirm:

- No level editor (likely due to Steam Workshop integration)
- No cross-platform nor cross-store multiplayer.

Disappointing release.

Thanks for confirming. GOG being the dumping ground once again...
I have fun with it.

Boy, I like it when we get games on GOG - with the catch that the level editors and the mods and what not being missing. Why? Because of Steam. And then when you complain about this, some smartypants comes and says this is the choice we made, to settle for an inferior version because it's DRM-free - rather than call out the devpubs for it and Valve and its ex-Microsoft employee turned CEO for creating this environment.

:nerd: but but but but they saved pc games and made linux games great by bringing their drm into it!!!!!
