Same here.

EDIT: Ok it's fixed.
Still confused about if this is one game or two games and if they were/was both/it a real one back in the day, or it is a modern one made to look like retro.

Mostly because I only know of Goal! the unofficial sequel to Kick Off series.

Apparently it's both the NES and SNES version of the same game.

So these are real games that existed back then?

Ya the official release names for them back in the day was ''Goal'' in one region and ''Super Goal'' in another I may not be a fan of sports games but I seem them all over seems everyone had the games for some reason .. likely cause even back then sports games quickly lost their charm

Ooof. Those critic scores don't inspire confidence.

Usually I'd say ignore critic scores but atleast in the 90's they could kinda be trusted .. not fully but atleast far more then any after about 2005 or so

Even then sports games generally historically have not had good critic scores nor good gamer scores

While you do raise a good point, I don't recall retrospectives singing praises for many a Jaleco game either. Maybe Saiyūki World II: Tenjōkai no Majin but I'd be hard pressed to remember another Jaleco game. Maybe...Dead Dance?

I am not going to defend these games as I never even knew existed, but having bad critic scores even back then, is not a bad thing on its own. I remember some time back in the late 80s I started realizing that reviewers were full of themselves. My view on them has not improved over the years. Leaving aside any payouts, direct or indirect.

Other than Strategy Plus/Computer Games Strategy Plus/Computer Games magazine that is. That was the best. Together with its CDMAG online presence. But even then I didn't agree with them on everything.

I remember playing this way back in the days on a friends Megadrive, before the FIFA franshising came to life.
I thought this was the Dino Dini's Goal (1993) ^_^
On the surface not the best package and not the worst package.
The game has been updated to support Galaxy achievements.
