Shake things up with Lilith the Necromancer Pack, which gives you access to the talented 5th adventurer and her menacing skeleton minions.

Check out our Warner Bros. Sale for deals up to -75% until September 11, 1PM UTC.
There's a lot of cool stuff there including the F.E.A.R series, Bastion, plenty of LEGO goodness and more.

_ChaosFox_: Not a bad game, although the bigger news is that this is the first formerly Steamworks-exclusive WBIE title. Bodes well for titles like the Arkham games, Mad Max and Shadow of Mordor.

On that note, throw in the DOS versions of Gauntlet 1 & 2 and I'm game.

Edit: Shit, apparently Atari own certain "rights" to the DOS ports of the classic games.
Maybe we could convince GOG to acquire Midway Arcade Treasures and the Deluxe Edition. :)

Neither these nor the Suffering games show up in the store for some reason yet I can access them and add them to my wishlist just fine.

CommanderRaven: Damn! I just bought this over on Steam like on Monday! For like $20! Bummer...

Hey what about the DLC Lilith the Necormancer Pack? It was only $5 on Steam. Is that coming later? It adds a bunch of content to the game? Off course I'm buying it AGAIN on GOG. Too bad the GOG Connect to Steam doesn't pick this up!
Refund?
English page has multiplayer details in French
The new games aren't listed on the game browse in the store. A search for Gauntlet or Suffering doesn't produce the new games.
Okay, started a game, few questions.

Is there any way to change the character name? Having a female Valkyrie named Abraham is pretty stupid. :P

Also, is this the way the whole game plays? Just a series of run in and kill, advance to next room, no quests?
Saw no mention of them, so just in case...

On steam version, the game also has a daily challenge. Yeah, you have to (for some bizarre reason) be online to use it, but considering you (hopefully) are playing with others, you're losing out if a large part of the game isn't active here.

Well, that & good luck finding groups out side of steam ;P

It's a nice game. Very enjoyable gameplay. I haven't bought it until now because what I really wanted from it was to be able to play multiplayer over LAN without any Internet requirement.
.
.
. . . maybe I should wait a bit longer.

Maighstir: But Google and Bing both do :-P
Ah, those... a safe way how to say something completely nonsensical in any language you don't know... :))) In lucky case even something rude may be said... :D

masayersuk: You need to specify what MP means for games? is it just local? is there LAN support? does it use galaxy? do I need a third party account? can I run my own server?
If Galaxy is required, that is always mentioned on the gamecard towards the bottom of the page, in small text.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: What is the reason why this does not have crossplay? All multiplayer games that are on both Steam & GOG should have crossplay.
Crossplay doesn't come for free, the programmers have to keep/make it like that. As the DRM-free version of executable may be different (it looks like original steam version did use steam libraries for network features), the new implementation for GOG may be not compatible, for whatever reason. One of them may easily be, that you can't connect to other steam version without being authenticated as valid steam user by steam, which is impossible for GOG to resolve.

So to get crossplay working, the WB would have very likely to update both versions, GOG and steam, to make their network code in sync. Sounds like way too much hassle for a $5 which will be sold in few pieces.

I didn't check this version, but certainly the originals in arcades were like that. Except you had to throw in a coin every ~30 seconds or so... ;)

Or they could do it like Terraria & some other games do, where you just enter an IP & you can group with anyone regardless of where they bought it (unless the site it was sold on screwed up something on purpose).

It's developers being lazy. There are a ton of free libraries one can use but they default to the obvious proprietary ones. This whole mess started with Gamespy. Except some Gamespy game developers still went through the trouble of coding TCP. Ideally nobody should be using steam or GoG libraries for true compatibility.
