I'm sure someone at the 'curation' department is trying very hard, but this seems like a cheap, low-effort and hollow piece of shovelware aimed at folks who have a purchasing addiction.

But at least this game has some form of persistence, well for only $12 and that it does offer progression, I don't know, I may just pick it up before the end of the sale, wishlisted for now due to negative reviews.

I found the commentary a bit much (I muted it), but was watching for the gameplay, not the YouTuber.

I appreciate that games eventually come on GOG after in Dev. I appreciate the low cost and general vibe I get from the game. Perplexed about the skip-the-grind coming out soon dlc. Noted.

Well... in my case I'm all about giving opportunities to any development and videogame. I've played everything, including genres I didn't feel comfortable in. And games with lousy scores that I thought were unfair. I like to see the reviews (especially from those who have actually played the title) I appreciate that, but my curiosity is great and the title looks very good. So I'll give it a shot. Thanks, GOG!

Has anyone tried the game yet?

Yep, tried it for a bit, first map to reclaim settlement and first dungeon. It’s janky as hell, combat is a joke. As a tip, you have to press run (shift) + w + jump to mantle (took me a while to figure out). Haven’t got further, probably never will.

It tells you how to mantle when you get to the first little wall that has the chest and barrels on the other side, if you're playing campaign mode.

I've been back-and-forth on this title...

... until I watched the following video.

It showed off early available spells and showed that you can purchase allies to aid you.

I'm sold!
