Fantastic Beasts And How to Slay Them.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, the monster-hunting epic that keeps challenging you with dynamic encounters, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 60% launch discount.

Tackling monsters shouldn't be just a roadblock in your epic adventure - it should be the very essence of it. In this massive open-world RPG every fight is its own reward thanks to the dynamic mechanics and deep customization. Train and upgrade your A.I. controlled pawns to fight alongside you or share them online with other adventurers and get rewarded for their exploits.

The 60% discount will last until June 20, 1PM UTC.

NOTE: The game comes with full GOG Galaxy support including Cloud saves, leaderboards, and achievements. Additionally, both the Pawn system and Ur Dragon work exactly as in the Steam version. Keep in mind, however, that the GOG Galaxy servers are separate from the Steam ones, meaning that this is a fresh start.

Watch the trailer.

Crewdroog: how did i know it would be you?

:)

*hugs*
Good to see you around again. :)
...But won't the other forum be jealous? ...Or do they not know you're here? [gasp] Are you cheating on them with us?
Is there an issue with saved games on this release? This game does look interesting, and it something I am considering, but looking online, there seems to be an issue with saved games. Not sure if it was fixed, user error, or something else entirely.
Thank you for your analysis. It is new and different aspects I know before. Looking forward to reading more of your posts
Woah, will get it after work.

If someone is unsure of getting it, just buy it, Dragon's Dogma is an amazing and unique RPG with a couple unexpected twists. :D

Striders are the best. ;)

tremere110: Or is this a Square-Enix "We only sold 3 million copies of Tomb Raider - what a huge failure!" type reasoning?
avatar
pbaggers: Pretty much. I think that over it's lifetime, DD has sold at least 1 million (combining sales of the original game, and both PC and console versions of Dark Arisen) but Capcom was expecting Resident Evil or Street Fighter numbers from this.
Somewhere around 1.5 - 1.6 million if wiki is on the mark.

Well Steamspy shows ~700k but thats way after the Humble Monthly though IIRC I think a week after the PC release there were ~300k Steam Owners.

Though I doubt there is a way to see the console owners.

Ho-Ly Shit! Thank you Capcom. Now open your legs wider and let us have your Resident Evil and Street Fighter franchises at GOG.
Very pleasant step from Capcom. Thanks.

Very nice! I just don't see my computer handling it yet ;)
Oooooookay, I guess I'm buying the game a THIRD time...(Xbox 360, Steam on release of the PC version, and now here). Worth it.
Great game, I've played through it twice, first on the 360 when it came out, then a second time when Dark Arisen came.

This game was more interesting and fun for me than Dark Souls, Dragon Age and Skyrim combined.

And now, a DRM-free version, ... very tempted.

I rarely replay RPGs, but this is a very cool game, a fun fusion of JRPGs and Western RPGs.
WHAT in THE ever-lovin' FV<K!?

Of all the games awaiting my de-steamed pile, this was the furthest from my mind, thanks CDPR/gog, I really don't care if this is offered via connect or not, because at this point I'll gladly throw money your way to support your magnificence!

INSTA-BOUGHT!...If SquareEnix, Bioshock, Croteam's entire library and Farcry 3-5 were to make over here I'll shit twelve and a half bricks!
It will be avilable by gog connect?
