Didn't you say that you would love to have the original RE games here? I might be wrong but I am pretty sure you needed ribbons to save in the first one ... so it simply would be true to its inspiration ;)

I know and I hate it, but back then I was so happy to play those games that I didn't care. With all the good games I have in my library, I think I'm pretty spoiled now :D

Atreyu666: I'm not trying to insult the game and its makers, maybe it is good after all. I'm just saying that in general I'd rather buy a good pixelart game (like Children of Morta, Webbed or Carrion) than a lackluster 3D game :)

edit: There's a review for the game now and it's not even that bad:

We all have to judge the game by what we can see to decide if we want to buy it or not. Again, different people might like different things, but I personally would never buy this game. I am certainly a fan of classic survival horror, and I am also fine with TPS horror games (depending on the gameplay), so I should be part of the target audience, however the more I look into the game, the more it appears to be awful.

We have a few horror games coming up soon-ish that are inspired by PS1/PS2 era titles which look much more well-designed (they certainly don't look as lazy as this one). Sadly, I am not sure if most of the ones I am looking forward to will be coming to GOG.

My post has now been appropriately edited.
Thanks for catching my omission!
I get the impression someone was a fan of Blood Rayne. Looks alright though.
Looks amazing.
