A beloved, classics-inspired survival horror game from 2024, Crow Country is now available on GOG!

In this title, you’ll test yourself against puzzles and riddles as you investigate the eerie tranquility of the abandoned theme park. Don’t be deceived by the whimsical surroundings, something is awfully wrong in Crow Country.

Crow Country modding (Resolution, Shadow Resolution, FOV, Filters)
https://www.gog.com/forum/crow_country/crow_country_modding_resolution_shadow_resolution_fov_filters

This thread explains a bit about the two current ways (that I've found online at least) we have to mod the game.

Syphon72: Is the game broken already?
Far from it!!!

Game is almost perfect in my view, but as an indie game made by two people, it lacks some features we would normally expect (mostly graphical options and controls settings) from a full thought out production, which, in this amazing case, is good.
Its good because clearly Tom and Adam (the devs which are also brothers, by the way) focused on everything that should be mainly focused on:

Gameplay mechanics, Writing, Story, Lore, Art Style, and Completeness.
This game is better made than some Resident Evil and Silent Hill sequels, and I'm not even joking here.
Devs respect its inspirations with honour and courage, which lacks nowadays, even on indie scene, where most try to copy the formulae that apparently sells most at the time.

Just sharing some mods people have made through the game's development that add some of those "settings" which the game lacks. As explained in the post though, those mods are old and made to work with older game versions.

By my tests these two on the post work in Crow Country version 1.0.0, but do not work on 1.0.2 and 1.0.3, unfortunately, so while Tom and Adam added more control schemes (K+M mainly) in the last updates, it also somehow broke compatibility with these mods which allow you to force a custom resolution, change shadow resolution, disable filters, change FOV, etc.

They're clearly experimenting and working on adding more support for modding and K+M though, as apparently they've built the game on Mono again, which is more supported for modding and are working on implementing Controls Remapping in the game.

In my book, they deserve all the praise and support we can give. :)

Hope GOG manages to also get SIGNALIS here in the future too!

I had never heard of the game before. I am just a sucker for survival horror games and bought it right away. I'm glad to know it's playable without mods. Thank you for providing the list of mods you posted...

Might need the resolution fix.
