Now on GOG!
Well the game "only" has been released on different Steam-alike stores, EGS and MS based stores, as well the next gen consoles. It is safe to say GOG is the "smallest store" where this game has been released and it certainly will stay this way; so i guess the GOGers should value it.

BanditKeith2: Still viable for me as its not the sort that causes a game offer or takes a huge amount of health from someone do to some dumb none combat based QTE sort of thing , So the information is very useful for me to know if a game I will actually enjoy playing and not end up drop off from some mechanic I never liked that has caused me to never finish some games for how the QTEs are vital to getting past sections before a safe point or check point is reachable
Personally I hate QTE but I didn't had issue with E33 ones mostly because they are "predictable" QTEs, as in it's not like in a game like Heavy Rain when you suddenly have to press five random buttons in less than second or you fail wiping you butt which result in your character dying; here you know that when you do an attack you will need to press X at certain point to do more damage; when the enemy attack you know you will have to press either the dodge or parry button at the right time to either dodge or parry, etc... the action you will need to do is known without having to wait for a prompt the only thing you need to concentrate on is to do it at the right time.

So it is closer to dodge / parrying mechanic of a Souls-like game rather than a QTE-fest list of a telltale or Quantic Dream game.

You won't have "sudden death" QTEs, but if you plan on playing the game at the max difficulty level you will need to be at least reasonably good at the parry mechanics.

JomVanFliet: There are some really cool premises in late 50s, 60s & 70s dystopian/sci-fi literature and cinema perfect to be adapted for RPGs, more of that please.
Apart from mandatory death at a certain age the circumstances of why and how that occurs in CO:E33 seem to be quite different though.
Good film, have to put it on again sometime, it's been too long. And good fucking riddance to the planned (and hopefully cancelled for good) remake.

Shame the baguettes don't appear to be wieldable, and stay strapped to the characters' backs instead.
Can't even take a bite to restore health, it looks like.

They are wieldable actually ;)

Crosmando: Already got it on Steam. You need to get games like these on day 1 if you wanna compete GOG.

MysterD: Dev's and pub's likely don't want a DRM-Free version out there to be pirated on Day 1 b/c a DRM-free version exists. Don't blame 'em, TBH.
I blame them because they obviously still believe in the lie that DRM prevents piracy.

I LOLd. You are not wrong though. I wish that Quantic Dream games had a "press to interact" control option, rather than just the "do a nonsensical wiggle gesture with your mouse / stick to interact" control set.

If you want "immersive gestures", then make a VR game. Otherwise use standard controls.

In NG+ AND seemingly only if you held onto your "tokens" from the first playthrough, which is very annoying.

Great news! If only I knew it'd be that quick I'd not buy it on steam.. I feel like such patterns might repeat with many different games in the future(IE I'm waiting for Deltarune who reasonably should come soon as Undertale was here, but I can't be sure, and I have no way of knowing for other games short of messaging developer), so perhaps feedback would be that GOG can possibly share which games are close to coming? If NDA allows.

I still see people on Steam forums claiming that others want a GOG version only for piracy.

GOG.com: Release: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Where do I know that red-head from?

Yeah ... some people simply are stupid. That's the reason why I am disappointed when publishers don't act smarter.
Hell yeah! One more chalked off of my Dreamlist, now do your best and bring some Bamco Tales and more of SEGA Like a Dragon goodness to the store, and I will have enough JRPG stuff to play until my retirement :D
omg yes!
One of very few games to date in my life that ive genuinly been looking forward to and hoped to play one day.
Its got a massive amount of positive oppinions from real gamers with based judgement and is named as one of the best all time rpg games by many.
Supposed to have a few issues but minor stuff and despite running on UE5 I read the devs did what they could to optimize it at its fullest capacity for us.
Will def be getting this!

That's why I have learned to not buy any game on Day 1 and avoid all possible spoilers. Saved me a lot of money while getting my DRM free copy :-)
