GOG.com: Release: CANINE
a PSX style game
But why?
Dev clearly has no idea what a PSX game actually looks like and is just using buzzwords for hipster points.

BreOl72: But why?
Because for people like me, they enjoy the nostalgia look but also know that PS1 style graphics tend to evoke a horror feeling even if the game itself isn't part of the horror genre. lol
◼ In CANINE there are no weapons, you only have Tomy's ball to survive.
Cuidado oh no this is scary

It's not litteral ps1, it's analog horror, it's supposed to be a reminder of something that never was...

I know, I just really don't like spurious use of terms like that, like how so many hipster "retro" devs think anything with pixel art is "8-bit". Makes me cynical about your product.

"Retro" means something different for everyone. :)
