All aboard!

Train Fever, a sandbox transport tycoon, is available now DRM-free for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux on GOG.com with a 66% launch discount.

The year is 1850, and you're in charge of your very own transport startup. Train Fever is a transport-business-simulation in a procedurally generated sandbox environment. The name might not suggest it, but trains are just the tip of this iceberg. You will manage a network of trains and railroads, but you'll also be in charge of building and optimizing roads, buses, trams and trucks to carry everything from passengers to lumber. An accessible system of drag-and-drop planning, cities that live and evolve across the decades, and great modability make this a prime candidate for your breath of fresh transport-sim air.

Don't miss the free USA DLC that comes with your purchase - developed in collaboration with the game's modding community: there are more than 50+ new vehicles, a complete new gamemode and over 150 years of American transport history to enjoy.

Train Fever is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The 66% launch discount will last for one week, until Thursday, March 12 at 10:59 AM GMT.

Daliz: I'm playing the Linux version with an i5-3340, GTX580, 8Gb RAM and it is very smooth, no lagging at all?

What hardware are you guys using, or could it be the Linux version is actually better?
I feel the lag only when zooming. I have an i7-4710mq, GTX980m and 16GB ram. It's hard having anything better in a laptop.

Strange, I haven't noticed anything like that, although I didn't have time to play that much yet.

i7 4790 DC
GTX 970 X2
16GB 2133 ram
Samsung 512GB 850 Pro.

Smooth as butter with Windows 7 pro. Gaming on a laptop is so hit or miss.

I can run most games on Ultra without a hitch, but zooming in this game is not smooth. Weird...
I am enjoying the game quite well. Sure, there are a few quirks, but overall a very relaxing and fun game/sim
Basic question: When the latest patch will be released on GOG?!?
Wow I'm really excited about this game, wishlisted for now, but definitely buying this one before long. I wasn't going to get this on steam, because... steam, but I'll buy it on gog.com

I've been looking for something like this since Railroad Tycoon 3!
