Sudden Strike 4: The Pacific War is now available DRM-free. Get it 15% off until March 1st, 2pm UTC.

Experience some of the fiercest battles of the South-East Asian campaign of World War II like never before. The “The Pacific War” add-on for Sudden Strike 4 throws you right into the conflict between the Allied Forces and the Imperial Japanese Army.
Bump!

Looks promising.
The "pacific war". I'll never get used to that. :-/

Why?
I remember when I was a kid I had the demo of Sudden Strike, it had only one mission, but I played it a lot. I would shoot my own troops and heal/repair them to gain experience and the demo would crash when the mission is over. It's one of my favorite games, even though I never played the full game.

("war" + "pacific", always sound a bit ironic)

It sounds like an oxymoron. You can't expect a war to be pacific; they're antithesis by definition. Yes I know Pacific Ocean blah blah, still sounds contradictory.
The store page for this isn't showing at all for me. At first, I thought it might be blocked in China (even though the base game isn't), but I've tried with a VPN too, and it still keeps redirecting me to the list of all games on gog. Anyone else having this problem? Am I missing something?

Works fine for me. But well, it's GOG, so something not being broken would be surprising. Maybe poke the support?

I'm sorry that this game is not available in China :'(

So, apparently it is blocked in China only? That means a VPN should work. Did you login via the VPN or just access the page like that? Pretty sure you need to do the former for it to work properly.

Yeah, that would make sense. I didn't actually log in via VPN. I thought I'd checked previous entries the lazy way (without logging out and in again) successfully, but that could could just be my memory being flaky.
Anyway, thanks for the replies everyone.

Oh so it sounds like pacifist? WW2 was still a big deal when I was a kid. My grandfather and all my uncle's fought in it and the Pacific front is what brought us into the war, so I guess it just never made me think of pacifist. TBH I knew what the Pacific front was well before I knew what a pacifist was. I dont think it was a big thing until the hippies during the Vietnam war. I think flying planes into our people and blowing up nearly 3,000 of our people in an unprovoked attack will rally just about everyone to the cause of destroying the enemy. Then of course the invasion of Alaska, even though it was relatively minor, and then the battle of L.A. even though it wasn't the enemy (depending on what you think of that situation)
