I like the action from the gameplay trailer, but I get the feeling this one has little in the way of story. Also, the density of the mobs is a bit too much for me. I do think it's great for people who want to have that short burst of fun, if I'm reading the store page correctly.

I give them props for selling it at a low price, since it sounds like quick and fun game to kill some time and nothing more.

Wishlisted for now, but I may get it after I see some reviews of it.
.
It might sound weird, but at the same time that I like the graphics I also think they ruin the game for me. Because everything is so vivid and colorful, so it's a bit hard to keep track of what are mobs, what are your attacks, possible enemy projectiles ( I think there weren't any but that's kinda my point, they'd blend too much), recently killed enemies (who were not a threat anymore but their death animation took a bit too long until they disappeared) and the background.

And if I concentrate on those things too much then I lose track where the player's character is, in a game where it's vital to keep moving to the safest spots every moment. Not knowing where you are you'll certainly pick the wrong direction often.

Oh well, I was never too interested in topdown shooters of fending zerg rushes like this one. So it's not a problem. Hope those who buy it have a blast.
Game certainly has a lot of colour.
I think, this game could profit even more, if it would have couch (or whatever it is called nowadays) co-op. It sure looks great.
Oh hey, the Ziggurat devs. It's probably worth the few bucks they're asking.
Yeah it's, er, "inspired" by Vampire Survivors, but has enough of its own to make it worthwhile. Actually I like it a bit more than Vampire Survivors, as the rounds are shorter (at least to start with, I think the more advanced ones are longer) and it's super polished. The controls are more complicated—instead of just directionals, it's directionals and a button, for a special skill with a long cooldown, which adds a little more strategy. A ridiculous amount of unlocks, so it would have a lot of longevity if you're into getting them all. The action remains readable even with everything going on. It probably wouldn't work as well on a phone, but on a monitor or TV it's fine. Flawless "a single dropped frame would be a mortal insult" performance with all settings on high...if all devs using Unity optimized their games half as well, it wouldn't have the reputation it does.
