Dancing in the dark.

Aragami, a supernaturally-imbued stealth game, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 10% launch discount.

Moving silently and avoiding light sources doesn't make you one with the shadows. You must dance with them, embrace them, let them flow through you like you flow through them. As a vengeful spirit summoned to this world by an enigmatic girl that wants to escape her prison, Aragami must fight the army of Light by disposing of its unwitting minions. Not an easy undertaking, but he yields the power to control the shadows, bend and twist them at will, and have them consume his opponents while keeping his presence concealed. Every challenge can be approached through multiple paths, however, and sparing your oblivious enemies may appeal to you more than bathing your sword in their blood. As long as you reach Yamiko in time to fulfil your mysterious destiny.

Infiltrate a well-protected city and cast your shadows upon its guards, as the vengeful Aragami, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Want to cover your footsteps with some atmospheric music? Then consider upgrading to the Collector's Edition, which includes both the OST and the fancy artbook.
The 10% discount will last until October 10, 3:59 PM UTC.

Djaron: sorry to spoil everyone's fun, but... ain't it a game from "Mergegames" studio ?[...]
avatar
Midoryu: Thanks for the warning and detailed explanation, much appreciated.
However, Merge Games is only the publisher, the developer is Lince Works.
Furthermore, Merge Games only publishes the console versions, it appears PC versions are self-published.

While you can surely draw conclusions of how well the publisher operates or how much he cares when it comes to its studios releases, I wouldn't blame the uninvolved Lince Works for it. If at all, blame is going to IV Productions, the developers behind RIOT - Civil Unrest, but I don't have any insight of what the issues with the game are, not counting what you posted about it, so I can't be the judge this time around.

Heyho.

Midoryu
thank you for the clarifications/explanation about the console version published by a different entity than pc version then it's hard to figure out the truth when all you can see (website + mailbox) is just contradictory or not consistent at 1st glance

then it appears Lince Works has hopefullly nothing to do with this mess.

Still though, when a mergegames person dare to tell me they set up a steam communauty hub page to keep people informed of updates and that is still empty, it should give Lince Works an hint about the kind of publisher they made a deal with the console version of their baby...

it's fun i only saw your post after trying to ask merge games for a refund or a trade off between my obviously bogus RIOT preorder in exchange for an Aragami GOG keycode earlier today :) I'll let you know if they dare to explain me the way you did the difference between every entities involved here that has nothing to do with each other. Can be fun... I'll share the fun with you folks

linceworks: Agh.. I posted with my personal account.. oh well.
Thank you for coming in with either account to explain and clarify about it... A fellow GOGer already took care of it just before, as you could see. So okay for me, wish you sincere good luck Lince Works.
And i'm glad it allows me to ever consider about your game lightheartedly without previous grudge you have nothing to do with, then. Aragami really sounded interesting afaic, but you could easily understand why i would be relunctant to begin with, given my current issue.

Well, if i get a refund for riot scam, i will gladly invest the money in aragami here on gog then :)

Does anyone know if the GOG version has (or will be getting) the level editor that just released?

Marioface5: Does anyone know if the GOG version has (or will be getting) the level editor that just released?
The game seems to be up-to-date (version 01.07), but no level editor in sight. It would be nice if someone from either gog or Lince Works could inform us on whether it's coming here or not.
