joveian: I wonder how long it is?

ChrisSZ: Someone posted a review on the game card, claiming it is "short and sweet" and took him about 4 hours to finish.
Going for 100% I'm close to 4.2~4.3 hours at 98% as of right now. Wasted some time here and there just watching so could have taken less time. Even playing at a slow pace you shouldn't be getting out more than 4 1/2 to 5 hours tops.

So apart from the white mouse cursor and a few glitches when getting too close to walls you didn't encounter any significant bugs? This is perfectly playable right now, even more so when using a gamepad? Just asking because I bought it but didn't play yet, because recently it happened a few times that a game I had downloaded and started or played through was patched shortly after, and I was wondering whether I should still wait for an obligatory "first patch shortly after release" or whether it's fine how it is and not likely to get patches soon.

Hello Leroux!

I think you do not need to wait for initial patches or updates. I am playing for about four hours already and did not encounter any major technical problems. The aformentioned glitch (clipping error when turning the third-person-camera too close to buildings) and some minor inconsistencies of which small objects or obstacles the little girl climbs on by herself or not, were the only things I could observe.
Recommendable are the plentiful individual graphics options and wide range of available screen resolutions.

For more details on my first impressions so far (written in German) see my post in the German subforum:

First impressions feddback (in German)

Have fun and enjoy the game!

Kind regards,

I second what foxgog said. It runs perfectly fine minus what I mentioned and foxgog encountered. Which I may have also but didn't consider it an issue. Could or should be fixed in an upcoming patch though.

I'm very sorry but I haven't tried playing with controller so can't answer your question. :-)

Regarding this patch. I saw the blue button in the library but looking there was no patch. The offline installer was still at .90. Or is it that this patch is available via galaxy? Would you know?

Add: I tested it with controllers and both don't work. One is a Logitech Dual Action where in menu screen sticks work but doesn't in the game. The other is an iBuffalo Classic USB which doesn't work in this game at all. An XBOX controller should work. Since I don't own one I can't say for sure whether it does.
