Think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3yU_HJMI_4 is another good match for the Achilles(hardships of) theme.

Ueber: Without the multiplayer this game seems not that interesting.

SargonAelther: It looks like multiplayer was just some kind of an arena thing rather than a full campaign. Not a great loss.
Still, the game lacks an important feature and is sold at the same price as the full version on Steam, this is a ripoff.
Thinking about it more, I'll probably grab this once I finish with Dungeon Siege 2. So around the end date of the release discount. I quite like what I'm seeing of the game and the price is reasonable with the discount.
Definitely my cup of tea.
Well, good thing I waited. A 50% discount code just came in newsletter. Grabbing the game now with that :P
Is Achilles a face or a heel?
I have to be honest here, when I read and watched the reviews, I didn't expect much but the deal was pretty good and so I tried this game. And what can I say, I'm about 3 hours in the game and I'm having a blast. It plays like a mix of Diablo and a Souls game. Combat is fun, the graphics are quite nice and yeah, overall I think this game is very underrated. Okay, if you play a game just for the story, then this might not be your cup of tea but otherwise it's really good!

I also like that you can pick "save and quit" any time and the game even saves where you are. Other games in that genre always put you back to the last save point, but not this one :)
Why is this game more expensive on GOG for a hamstrung product? The base price is $14.99 on Steam and that version includes multiplayer. Why should I buy this title here?

This is the kind of bullshit that keeps your sales low, GOG. I really want to support you, but you're giving me reasons not to with this garbage

There is evidently an issue with the base price of this game. The Soundtrack Bundle, which includes the base game, is 15.79 euros, whereas the Standard Edition costs 22.99 euros.
